Topic 1: You are a candidate in a Manitoba provincial election, and you hope to win the votes of many women, young adults, minority group members and recent immigrants who are working precariously. Your election platform therefore includes a number of proposals for reducing the precariousness of their jobs through new legislation and policies. Topic 3: You are a member of the Migrant Worker Solidarity Network, and it’s your task to develop a publicity campaign to mobilize Manitobans around the injustices of temporary foreign worker programs, including the way migrant workers are treated in our province and their unequal access to the legal rights and benefits of other workers.
