Chartres cathedral whose full name is Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres is located about 60 miles south-west of Paris in a medieval town known by the same name – Chartres. The present day cathedral was constructed between 1193 and 1250 and it is one of the most remarkable accomplishments in the history of architecture. Its panoptic sequence of portal sculpture is almost perfectly preserved according to its initial design and details since it conveys an unadulterated image of its original look with fully intact and glowing stained-glass windows.

In addition to its magnificent architectural prowess, Chartres Cathedral is also a major pilgrimage destination rooted in the Christian faith since the middle ages. It has withered a very vulnerable history captured by an exquisite preserved architecture over centuries of an atmosphere of conflict and medieval occupations to emerge as an altar of awe and holiness that overwhelm even its atheist visitors.

Formal analysis

The Chartres Cathedral appears to hover in midair over a settlement looking city clustered around the point where the cathedral stands.

The Photo of the exterior, main façade of the Chartres Cathedral plan is inspired by the basic form of a Latin cross with three aisles, an ambulatory and a short transept. The towering nave appears to be held up by double flying buttresses which are chiefly grounded by colonnades and a series of masonry supports that directly receive thrust from the underlying arches. These bridges are then made light in appearance by filling the niches with sculptured stone. The third row of buttresses which was reportedly added in the 14^th century is supported by the apse,

History

There are four big cereal companies holding 86.4% and a few small companies holding 13.6% of the market share. Price competition is nonexistent. In 1993 the industry earned a net profit of 6.7% barriers to entry and numerous government attempts to finish it have failed. Cereal industry is at $8 billion any approach that can gain 1% increase is substantial for the companies.

Buyer Power

Due to the fact that there are only a few major companies, consumers do not have a big impact on the industry because they purchase small quantities of cereal weekly. Hence Cereal Companies are not dependant to their views. Grocery stores are their main threats because they decide who gets shelf space and this is what cereal companies need.

Supplier Power

There are a few substitutes to cereal thus they give suppliers in cereal industry a lot of power since they are common and do not swing the consumer precedence. Secondly is there is a capability of suppliers merging with these substitute companies. For  example sugar companies trying to merge with cereal company.

Introduction
This repot briefly states and expresses my own thoughts and sentiments, perception of others, personality within study and work, attitudes towards personal activities and values as well a thorough analysis of all these aspects realized during the group project. In other words, I would like to share some of the self-realization and a few insights that I have picked up while doing the project.
Working on a group project means teamwork and being nice and considerate towards your team /group mates, this plays an integral part of the success of the project. Another thing that I quickly realized for myself was that the theoretical learning is not enough. Potential opportunities and actual experiences have a huge impact on perception, personality, attitudes and values on the learning process itself. As the cliché goes Learning is a continuous process and that experience is also one of the best teachers. Knowing is different from having the feel of it and really doing it in real life. This experience was like real work in the real job environment.
The group project taught me a lot about handling time and keeping to the schedule. It trained me to be mindful of the time and respect the time of others that am working with. Because of this, I realized how important planning and organization is, as well as managing my time and schedule not only when am working but also in my personal life. Although, this experience is more like a practice exercise, this is the first real hands on experience I ever had working as a team.

I always had an alternative opinion to every approach from our group leader, but we always found common ground after much deliberations and persuasion. This was very beneficial to our groups’ effectiveness since there was no dominance from the leader in solving this problem of the communication issue between dentists and other parties.

Introduction

Global trade is definitely of utmost significance to any country’s economy let alone that of California.  Estimates point out that California exports, as a share of all goods and services produced and exported from the USA have decreased from 11.4% in 2009 to11.2% in 2010. This translates to a total decline in from 144,806 Million dollars in 2008 to 143,269 Million during the year 2010.  In addition, trade through California’s ports has dropped dramatically during the last few years.

 

High-technology sectors such as aircrafts, computers, instruments and electronics represent more than 70% of all products exported by California producers. Processed foods together with agricultural products take the second place with about 10% share. Foreign trade is also fundamental to some of California’s main service sectors, like the film industry and tourism. Very scanty data is reported on the state’s imports but the overall U.S.A data indicates that California’s import record spans widely from computer and electronic hardware to textiles.

 

This research paper analyses the different causes and effects of foreign trade on California’s economy. Conceptually, it is expected that declining exports would hurt California’s economy since trade exports generally increase the output and employment in the manufacturing industries. The written Presentation Summary (2-3 paragraphs, no longer than 1 page), includes your analysis of the impact of your PowerPoint Presentation on organizational leadership/management, attendee’s positions in the organization, questions asked, how you, the student responded to these questions/comments, and your self-evaluation of the presentation. Following the Reference List in your Capstone Project Paper, using a page break, title the page PowerPoint Presentation Summary, write your summary of the PowerPoint presentation to leadership/management.

REMINDER:

Because your Presentation Summary is based upon your actual PowerPoint presentation to leadership/management in your organization, you must plan ahead to schedule this presentation prior to when the 3.1 and 3.2 Assignments are due in Term 5.
