Visual Rhetoric in Videogames with Workscited

Guidelines for Research Narrative
Choose a question regarding visual rhetoric which you are genuinely interested in and
write a paper describing your inquiry process so far; what you found, where and how you
found it, where you think you will go next and what questions you have now. You must
keep in mind the following details:
Relationship to Course Content Objectives
Your topic should sustain your interest, be of significance to others and have been
published about in a variety of sources, which represent a wide array of viewpoints. In
this assignment you will use MLA formatting and indicate the sources you have
researched.
Your Interest in & Understanding of the Topic
Your research narrative will help you better understand your research on visual rhetoric
and our research and thinking processes in general so that you can evaluate what
practices are most helpful to you.
Purpose
By telling a research narrative you will walk the reader through your research process and
tell them what you have found and why you were interested in exploring your topic.
Discuss any complications that arose, where you got stuck, where you became excited
over a piece of research found. What are they? Where did they come from? What do
they say in regard to your area of inquiry? How are they valuable? And finally, what
further questions or areas of inquiry do they suggest? Thinking back, does your reading,
writing, thinking process work for you? Are there things you should change? How?
What would you like to do next?

stanford prison experiment

The Stanford Prison Experiment video shows us how quickly we can take on the role that is assigned to us (e.g., prisoner or guard in this case).  As discussed in the video, there were some ethical concerns about this video, especially in regard to the “correctional officers’” behavior.  What are the main things you learned from watching this video?  Do you think it was a worthwhile experiment, or are the ethical concerns so great that this type of experiment should not be allowed to be conducted?

Health finance

An annual operating budget for a health care organization with accompanying schedules and narrative analysis will be completed by each student. An income statement and appropriate supporting schedules will be prepared in good form after being provided a baseline income statement and assumptions regarding future events and conditions. The analysis will take into account the type of facility, its environment, mission, strategic plan, payer mix, and other factors. Students should draw upon all relevant material presented throughout this and previous courses (e.g., MGMT Classes), coupled with their own experience, in completing this project. The final work should include an Income Statement, supporting schedules, and narrative analysis and be no more than 8 pages in length. It should provide a reasonable projection of an organization’s activities and address the most important aspects of the organization’s financial operations. Details of this project, as well as supplemental readings and exercises, will be made available in the course content section of the WebTycho classroom.

Wuthering Heigths

Critics have stated that Wuthering Heights is novel which lacks a hero or heroine. Write a well-organized essay supporting or refuting that statement. In your essay, consider whether Heathcliff is a hero or a villain and to what degree he and Catherine are sympathetic to the reader.
