The city authorities are planning a new-build local government administrative headquarters to be located in the city center. This will achieve the centralisation of all public sector departments and relocation of their staff to a single location. These departments are currently located in a number of properties of different types and ages across the city, and the client view is that this arrangement is no longer suitable for the purposes of modern and efficient administration of government services. The strategic objectives of the client for the new project are to achieve Value for Money by rationalising local government service departments in a high specification modern building that befits a progressive and visionary city. The project has a budget of £25M and an initial estimate is that around 12500m2 of accommodation is required, although this is likely to be reviewed as the design develops.
The client has adopted OGC 3 Project procurement life cycle as the procurement framework for the project which ensures value and risk studies are integrated in the process. The project is currently at an early stage of development and the client representative has commissioned you as an independent VRM consultant to advise on the value and risk studies to be carried out at the following stages of OGC 3.

Your 1st task is to design a value study to achieve the objectives set out under the “description” heading of this step of OGC3. The study duration is to be maximum of 1 day.

Include “hands free” of speaker phone is still using hands, blue-tooth headsets still distract from the road, checking text messages or surfing the internet while driving is distracting & can very well cause an accident

For sources, use news reports from accidents occurred from people texting or using other hands free devices that distracted them from the road, causing an accident. Use names of casualties (if any) and dates to support argument to make it more personal and affect the reader.

5. How effectively did your team work together in the field and when sharing data? Also, name two ways in which you will change your team-working in order to be a more effective team member.

I believe out team worked well together as we got our results fairly quickly, we communicated well with each other so we knew what was needed to reach our objective. We each volunteered to do different roles such as measure the width of the river so no one was left sitting out. We also communicated through emails if we were missing any data. Two ways I would improve is
