In the country of Drazah Larom (moral hazard spelled backward), health insurance is
nonexistent and all medical markets are perfectly competitive. Use supply and demand
analysis to explain the impact of the following changes on the price and output of
physician services. (Unnecessary to show graph)

A. A decrease in the wage of clinic-based nurses.

B. The adoption of cost-enhancing medical technologies.

C. An aging population and correspondingly a more severe patient case-mix.

D. Declining consumer income.

E. A lower market price for physician services (be careful here!).

Assume the sale of human organs is legalized and a free market develops. Furthermore,
assume the market is in equilibrium. Trace through the price and output effects of the
following: (unnecessary to show graph)

A. An increase in the incomes of potential buyers of human kidneys.

B. A decrease in the price of kidney dialysis.

C. The development of a new drug that leaves the immune system intact while preventing
transplant rejection (Waldholz, 1992).

D. A greater willingness by individuals to supply human kidneys.

I don’t need this in a essay. Just to be answered as is. Please let me know if this possible.

Moral Philosophy

1. Background. As a self-aware organizational level leader, it is important for you to reflect on your moral and ethical commitments. This is an opportunity for you to develop and express your convictions about what you believe and why. A written moral philosophy allows you to do this. As you have developed over the course of your life, you already have a moral philosophy that has guided you. This philosophy started in childhood and has continued to mature through your professional formative years as a company grade officer. Now as a field grade officer and an organizational-level leader, it is important to continue developing your philosophy, and to articulate it to your junior leaders. Further development of this philosophy requires you to apply your critical thinking skills by analyzing the ethical systems presented during E100. Through reflection on your core beliefs, values, and the ethical concepts presented in the E100 course, you must be able to clearly express your moral and ethical commitments in both your personal and professional life. Following are some ideas to assist you with this thought process:a. Writing a moral philosophy is a very personal process. It requires an examination of your core beliefs, values, actions, and expectations of yourself and others. A checklist-driven presentation is not appropriate; due reflection on key ethical systems must be evident.
b. Your paper should illustrate evidence of careful moral self-reflection and self-awareness, and how these beliefs affect your leadership style, especially at the organizational level.Requirement: This is your end-of-theme essay for E100. The purpose of this individual essay assignment is for you to demonstrate your ability as an organizational level leader to evaluate and internalize the moral philosophies presented in E100 and apply them to your personal and professional life. The assessment rubric for the essay is below and provides grading criteria for the essay. Ensure you address each of the evaluative criteria when formulating your response. Your essay should be three (3) to four (4) pages in length (double-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman Font with 1 inch margins). Add endnotes for any citations. The endnotes will not count toward your page requirement. You will turn in your essay after your E104 class, on the date appointed by the instructor.
?
?Prompt
From the perspective of an organizational level leader, write your moral philosophy incorporating the understanding you have gained during the E100 course. Demonstrate your ability to evaluate the ethical systems presented in the course. Incorporate the reasons for what you believe morally and ethically. Include a description of the ethical system(s) you have adopted and explain how you will personally and professionally live by that ethical commitment.

I have started out the essay and this should help the writer with some of my thoughts: The purpose of this essay is to provide you with an understanding of my leadership philosophy. The success of an organization is defined by the interactions of its members. With the understanding that the military is a rich and diverse culture, it is important for leaders to instill the utmost respect for each other and our Soldiers and to uphold the principles by which we serve. My leadership philosophy parallels the following personal beliefs that are of importance to me; candor, respect, consistency, and credibility. Values are the fundamental aspects of our being. As leaders we must exemplify the characteristics of our core values, on and off duty, and utilize them in developing our subordinates. My vision is that we operate as a highly effective team that is cohesive, competent and disciplined that are physical fit and capable of responding to the call at a moments notice. I was raised in a hispanic military family and my father exemplified the utmost principles of discipline, honor, hard work and integrity. He expected results from his children and I expect results from my Soldiers. My mother instilled qualities in me that are compassionate, caring, and forgiving. My parents have since passed away, and I value the fact that as a leader of soldiers, that I can impart my family morals and beliefs on them daily while upholding the traditions of the US Army. Anything less would be detrimental to unit success as it would contradict my notion of being genuine with my soldiers.

Health care reform analysis

Write a paper (500-750 words) that analyzes the need for health care reform. The paper should incorporate no fewer than three references. Do not include the title and References pages in the mandatory word count.

In the paper, you should:

1) Identify concerns about cost, quality, and access to the current U.S. health care system.

2) Answer the question: “Is the current health care system an example of market failure that requires government intervention?”

3) Describe different proposals for change from both political parties.

4) Summarize key elements of reform that are needed from the perspective of the author of the source used.

The Causes of WWII

The topic is on the causes of WWII. Sources can be a variety of literature and internet, but mostly academic literature. I will include the general instructions attached at the end. The other major important piece is as followed:

– 3-4 of the pages of the paper needs to focus on a biographical person involved with the topic. Please use 3-4 sources for this part.

– Instructions on the assignment: Write a 15-page research paper on your topic. It will contain a clear thesis statement, a well-reasoned discussion and a sound conclusion. You may use either footnotes or end notes but they must follow the Chicago Manual of Style format. The paper must have a bibliography (not considered part of the 15 pages) which also follows the Chicago Manual of Style. Again, grammar and composition count. Smooth transitions, accurate spelling, appropriate vocabulary and so forth are all part of a good research paper. If you cannot present your data and arguments to colleagues clearly and concisely, what good was all the research?

South Pasadena Public Arts Program

all question should include in this paper:
you need to identify and research the following elements of the organization:
describe your organization- mission statement, activities/events it participates in or promotes, year it was created, major accomplishments, etc.
number of staff and volunteers
organizational chart
how is the organization funded
operating budget for the last 5 years- most will not have annual budgets, but they can give you a ball park or provide you with different elements
how was the organization created? were there a group of citizens or artists advocating for its creation? was a public ordinance that seemed to just come about?
does the organization participate in civic engagement? how does it do this?
has the organization encountered any obstacles? if so, what are they? how were they overcome?
add any extra questions you wish to address or elements you would like to explore with this organization.

Merger and acquisition

Merger and acquisition activity is experiencing a boom, with corporations such as Google, Apple, Twitter and Yahoo spending billions of dollars in 2013 acquiring businesses. Whilst such activity is often predicated on the basis of increasing shareholder returns, empirical research in finance indicates that short run impacts are insignificant (Firth, 1980; Franks and Harris, 1989) and long run impacts are largely negative (Sudarsanan and Mahate, 2003), suggesting that the real motivation for merger and acquisition activity relates to other factors such as empire building.
Required:
Through a critical review of the empirical literature on Mergers and Acquisitions ,assess the proposition stated above.

Assessment criteria
? Presentation: this includes consideration of general presentation issues (such as page layout, use of paragraphs, accurate spelling, and compliance with presentation instructions) but, more importantly, the presentation of citations in the text and accurate referencing, in the correct format. Please ensure that you consult the very detailed instructions on this provided in the module handbook: all the necessary information is provided there. If you cite sources in the text and do not include them in the list of references, the assumption will be made that you have not in fact consulted these sources but have copied material from another text which included them. This is plagiarism and attracts severe penalties. It is therefore essential that you check your text very carefully to ensure that all citations are listed as references[2 marks].
? Use of literature Under this heading the extent and quality of your sources will be assessed. You are expected to demonstrate that you have undertaken an independent literature search so your list of references should include more than the sources to which you have been directed by the suggested reading. You are also expected to be able to distinguish authoritative sources: these are books and journal articles which have academic authority. Professional magazines, newspaper articles and web sites may be referred to if particularly relevant but should not comprise the majority of your references[4marks].
? Problem solving, application of theory to issues and practice: under this heading, your ability to demonstrate understanding of issues raised in the literature, including methodological issues, will be assessed, primarily in your approach to answering the question set. Your discussion of the issues posed in the question should reflect your understanding: you should be able to present an argument, outlining alternative views (derived from your reading) and presenting evidence that supports these and arriving at a conclusion which you have justified from the literature and from examples. Your answer to the question should be clearly focused: read the question carefully and refer back to it frequently while writing your answer to ensure that you are not wandering off the point and including irrelevant material[10marks]
? Critical approach to sources: under this heading your ability to reflect on the literature you have read will be assessed. You should be able to identify similarities and differences between authors’ arguments and methods and to use such comparisons to support your arguments. You should be able to demonstrate your own thinking where the questions set require this by presenting an argument and supporting it by reference to evidence that you have collected[4marks]
