In a two-three page research paper titled Mobile Applications, research the below questions regarding mobile applications. Use APA 6th edition citations and references.
Requirements:

1. Briefly describe neo-luddites and the Neo-Luddisim movement and how it may impact mobile technology.
2. List at least three advantages of mobile technology compared to traditional technology (i.e. desktops, laptops, etc.).
• One of the advantages in my opinion is mobility. You can go almost anywhere with a iPhone or android in your pocket. Feel free to change this answer if you have better ones.
3. Brainstorm a specific advantageous way a mobile application might change a business process involving college students.
4. Develop two original ideas for college mobile applications that can be used on today’s college campuses (be specific).
• App that alert students when they are getting closer to due date
I. It can alert them an hour, a few hours, a day and/or a few days for work is due.
II. It alert when work is past due.
III. It can call a student phone to deliver message stating the status of the work, weather the student have a few hours or pass due.
• App with all school activities from sporting events to anything the school have going on.
I. Student can select what activities the want to be notified about.
II. The app reminds the students of the event a week, day, and/or hours before a specific college event.
5. Identify and explain an everyday process in today’s society that may benefit from mobile technology. How might this process be improved by using a mobile application?

This week we will explore and conduct research into the health and safety of the workplace and answer the following questions:
1. What are the main health concerns that affect people at work?
2. What are some of the major ways we can reduce workplace stress?
Based on current data and research, what does the future look like for both?

1) Your goal for this paper is to formulate a research question and answer it by combining your own analysis of the subject with information from reliable sources. Your research question may be on any specific, debatable topic. I encourage you to ask inquiry-based questions that have no one correct answer. Past students have asked questions like:

b. Are there differences between children raised by same-sex and different-sex couples?
c. Should certain works of literature be censored in high schools?
d. Are electronic cigarettes healthier than traditional cigarettes?
e. What is “cuteness,” and why do we see some humans and animals as cute?
2) You will use at least five secondary sources. These sources must be from the library, the library database, or a reputable website. Your paper must include an MLA-style Works Cited page and in-text citations.
3) This paper should be 5 pages (12 pt. font, double spaced).

Write a page reflection on the dynamics of your group discussion regarding the Alpha University case study. Discuss areas where there was disagreement on budget decisions and the rationale supporting the final decisions that were made. Did you agree with the final decisions? If not, why?

Try and choose aspects that are meaningful to you, or respond to critique or categorization you strongly disagreed with.

LESS CONFRONTATIONAL CAN BE DETRIMENTAL
One aspect of online dispute resolution that is presented in the book as a beneficial characteristic is that it is less confrontational (Macfarlane, Manwaring, Zweibel, Smyth & Pearlstein, 2011, p. 431). Macfarlane states that “the computer provides an emotional distance between parties, allowing them to accurately evaluate the merits of their respective cases” (Macfarlane et al., 2011, p. 431). It is also mentioned that it gives parties time to reflect on their positions before articulating them (Macfarlane et al., 2011, p. 431). While this may be advantageous in some situations, I could see this aspect turning out to be detrimental to dispute resolution in others. The fact that online dispute resolution is less confrontational could also encourage people to say things that they would not normally say to someone if they were face to face. This could escalate the conflict. It could give someone the courage to be more rude/confrontational/belligerent because they know they will never have to be in the same room as the opposing party. So while being less confrontational could cause some people to be more respectful and keep their emotions in check, it could cause others to say things they normally would not.

Identify a female who is a member of today’s workforce (U.S. military or U.S. civilian). Interview this person. Compare and contrast what you have learned from this person with your review of the literature and diversity value in today’s workforce. Be sure to ask what she believes would help for greater inclusion of her group in the workplace and in the world.
