In this Module we learned about the three types of multiple murders: Serial, mass or spree murders. Choose one case of multiple murder (either serial, mass or spree). Research the case online (do not use Wikipedia as anything other than a jumping off point) and write a paper summarizing the case. Present this summary in the form of a 3-5 page paper which will be used as a supplemental reading in a class on criminal behavior. In the paper:

Provide a detailed description of the case and the type of multiple murder it signifies. Use at least three sources beyond your online notes and assigned textbook.
Discuss the reasoning for the crime according to the offender (if available) or other sources
Analyze the case in light of at least two psychological theories that may explain or add to the understanding of the event or case
Draw a conclusion about the psychological causes of this crime.

While numerous psychotherapeutic methods for treating substance abuse are available, some patients also utilize pharmacotherapy to assist them in their recovery.

Using the module readings, Argosy University online library resources, and other scholarly resources from the Internet, evaluate the integration of pharmacotherapy in the treatment of substance use disorders. Then, respond to the following questions:

What are the costs and benefits of combining pharmacotherapy with psychotherapy in the treatment of substance use disorders?
How does abstinence apply to those users who are taking replacement therapy such as methadone maintenance or nicotine replacement treatments?
What counseling theories will work best alongside pharmacotherapies for substance use disorders?

Select one of the three behaviorists who, in your opinion, offers the most compelling argument for the use of behaviorism when teaching a new subject to an adult and to a child. Identify that behaviorist, then answer the following questions about his approach:

Describe how that behaviorist would teach an adult a new skill. Be specific; what is the skill?
What steps would the behaviorist use?
Would that behaviorist use a different approach with a child?
Why do you think this behaviorist’s approach is best?
What issues or problems do you find in the other two behaviorists’ approaches?

Assignment 2: Personal and Corporate Computer Security Awareness and Countermeasures

Continuing with your efforts to educate CSII employees, you now need to provide them with the most current information about personal and corporate computer security awareness and countermeasures.

Most government agencies and employers post their own policies and procedures based on the experiences of their information technology (IT) security professionals and recommend countermeasures accordingly. Many of these government agencies and employers visit various websites (including but not limited to government websites) and offer and take advice from specialty organizations.

 

Research a top multinational company in the world including its international strategy over the last 10 years. Using your research, write a report explaining its strategy, including a discussion of the following questions:

How do management practices, HR policies, and strategy decisions differ between multinational companies and local companies?
Identify some cultural, legal, political, and financial issues this multinational company may have based on their environment.
What sort of international orientation does it have?
Do you think it is ethno-, poly-, or geocentric?
What were the decision factors for the locations it chose to expand in?
Did it have the core capabilities to succeed in those markets?
Think about its objectives, how it chose its countries, what opportunities and constraints were apparent at the time, and what it needed to do to succeed in those markets.
If you were going to compete with this company what would you use as an international marketing entry strategy (licensing, franchising, exporting, joint ventures, etc.) and justify your answer
Define what a value chain dispersal and integration strategy is, and then describe how the strategy is organized around it.
