1. Life Style Wellness Project
Behavior change and evaluation of valid health information are important skills to learn related to developing life long health and wellness. This is a three part personal wellness life-style change project in which you will practice information evaluation, develop, and implement a personal behavior change program. Each part of the project builds on the next. Part 1 you will chose a behavior to change. Part 2 you will develop a behavior change program. Part 3 you will implement the behavior change program and summarizing the experience in a two page paper. All sections should include reference citations in the text and have a bibliography in APA format. The papers should be written using 12 font. Write each section so that it can stand alone, but becomes part of the whole.
Part 3 Working the Plan and the Summary Paper 50 pts

Prospect
Biking gained popularity rapidly in the recent years. Most cities are promoting biking to lower traffic volumes and enhance the welfare of the public. There are many different ways that cities are using to encourage the public bike. With the existing infrastructure in most cities in the US, biking can be dangerous. Given the physical work done by bikers they inhale much more air than people driving motored vehicles. The City of Portland and ODOT are the two main audiences for this research paper.
By providing more bike lanes around the city and separating bike routes away from traffic to provide safer, more convenient options for bikers. Also separate bike routes have been proven to have much cleaner air than routes shared with other vehicles. If cities implement these changes it will have a great effect on bicycling and it will attract younger, healthier and more active newcomers as well as it will promoting a healthier life style of the existing population. Cities can also create a biking community that helps bikers reach each other and share their experiences.

Topic of the Final Paper

Student will choose a topic of interest in the domain of Health Care Ethics. For the purposes of this paper, it is advised that students choose a topic that has been the cause of an ongoing debate.  Using the resources from the NSU Electronic Library (all academic resources, no websites such as Wikipedia.org, etc) and class resources , the student will develop a 10 page paper presenting the history of the topic, in depth description of the problems arising within the topic, arguments pro and cons, current state of the debate, and will conclude with a personal informed opinion.  A minimum of 10 sources must be used for this paper, regardless of page #’s written.

The following topics are NOT allowed for the final paper:

Abortion, Stem Cell Research, and Physician Assisted Suicide.

Google ‘health care ethics debates’ to give you some topic ideas.

Use APA style writing standards for composition and references. Double-spaced. Use a word processor and be sure to save the paper in MICROSOFT WORD.

There are three basic assumptions that should be met for the successful completion of a good paper. First, the student must possess the intellectual ability, curiosity and investment in the topic. If you do not choose a topic that interest you,  you will find yourself getting disheartened and bored and the quality of your paper will suffer.

Second, resources should be available for completing your paper. Use the NSU electronic library, and other internet resources.

Third, the topic should be relevant to the field of health care ethics.

 

Guidelines for Paper

The written paper is to be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines:

 

1. Components: The paper should contain all of the following components:

i.    title,

ii.   author,

iii.  introduction,

v.  brief analysis of the current literature,

vii. discussion,

x.  and bibliographic references.

 

Manuscript Preparation: The manuscript shall be typewritten double-spaced  with 1″ margins on all four sides. The pages are to be numbered consecutively, beginning with the first page of text. The font for the type should be no larger than 12 point and in Times New Roman font style.

Text Requirements: The cover page should contain the title and author’s names.  The main text should begin on a separate page

Assignment 3: Part C: Your Marketing Plan

To conclude your marketing plan, in Assignment 3, you will describe the company’s, marketing strategy, implementation strategy, expansion plan, social media strategy, monitoring methods, and integrated marketing communication strategy.

Write a six to seven (6-7) page paper in which you:
1.Develop the company’s branding, pricing, and distribution strategy.
2.Provide the following marketing strategy information: a.Classify the company’s major competitors as inter- or intra-competitors. Categorize the competitors’ major strengths and weaknesses.
b.Develop the differentiation strategy in relation to the closest competitor.
c.Establish whether the company’s intention is to be a leader or follower within the industry.
d.Assess the level of impact that the salient macro-environmental issues (e.g., legal, technological, social, and economic, etc.) and trends with which the company must contend could potentially have on the company’s marketing strategy.
e.Discuss the marketing research tools that you used in your marketing strategy.

3.Construct an implementation strategy for your hypothetical company in which you specify the essential activities and responsibilities. Include a timetable for completion of each component of your strategy.
4.Develop a five (5) year expansion plan that includes future profitability and market share growth. Include necessary graphs to explain your plan.
5.Specify two (2) social media and / or media tools that you would use as you develop your plan. Justify each of your chosen tools.
6.Choose two (2) performance standards, two (2) monitory methods, and two (2) financial controls that you would implement that differ from the standards that you had provided in Assignment 1. Justify your choices.
7.Assess the potential for your company’s overall performance in relation to the marketing plan objectives.
8.Suggest the integrated marketing communications that are most relevant for your marketing plan. Relate each marketing communication to your company’s advertising strategy.
