Pasadena City College this summer.

Please help me to write a appeal complain. I took a class at Pasadena City College this summer. And I am currently a student at University of la verne. My school said it was kind of a duplication between two course. Please read the two course descriptions. And help me write a appeal to state the different between two course.

Discuss the author’s position. Do you agree or disagree with this position?

Discuss “Heaven of Hospital”.

here is what the teacher needs :
This week’s IOW is Maria’s IOW topic, “Heaven of Hospital” Please make sure to find a credible article on the topic (and include the link in your post). You must cite (using MLA) at least twice within your post. You should summarize the article you have chosen, including where you found the article, the title and author – discuss how well written you found the article (were you convinced? why or why not? did the author use enough ethos? pathos? logos?) and your opinion on the topic.

Describe your methodology for doing sensitivity tests on these parameters.

Do a sensitivity analysis to determine the relative role of the following parameters in slope stability analyses using an infinite plane model for shallow landslides in unconsolidated sediments. This model would be applicable to construction sites in the developed area of the Wasatch Front where construction may cut into banks of Lake Bonneville sedimentary deposits, over steepening the terrain (e.g., the new construction site just east of 1200 West on the North site of Center Street in Orem, UT)
Slopes: Ranging from flat (0) to 30 degrees (not likely to find anything steeper in these conditions).
Saturation: Completely dry to completely saturated
Cohesion (N/m^2):
Material Cohesion (min) Cohesion (max)
Clay 18-28 10,000 (uncompacted) 100,000 (compacted silt and sandy clay)
Silt 0 (dry no clay) 80,000 (compacted silty loam, moist)
Sand 0 (dry no fines) 40,000 (wet and compacted with silt)
Gravel 0 (dry, few fines) 20,000 (gravels with clay, silt and sand, well compacted)
Angle of Internal Friction (Phi in Degrees):
Material Phi (min) Phi (max)
Clay 18 28
Silt 28 35
Sand 37 38
Gravel 32 44e

Depth of potential failure: Ranging from 1 – 5 meters
1. Describe your methodology for doing sensitivity tests on these parameters. Present at least three figures describing some of your major results from this analysis.
2. Based upon your sensitivity analyses draw up limiting guidelines for constructing slope gradients within the urban area. State your rationale for why developers should be limited in the gradients that they use to create room for additional structures.
3. Also address the following issues: If the developer plans to put in a retaining wall to allow them to have a steeper gradient, how much steeper can they go with the addition of a typical retaining wall in combination with vegetating the slope. (Assume added cohesion of: 10,000 N/m2 and a force opposing the shear force by 5%.)
Turn in your report as a short technical report (3-5 pages in length + figures and references) including an introduction, methodology, results, conclusions, and recommendations section.

Discuss 2 points for detailed description of how this approach addresses therapy goals.

Read case of Hussein. He is having problem with sexual orientation.
In this paper, you need to prove effectiveness of Client Centered Therapy.
And how will you apply for Hussein case. (You need to be very specific).
Use all 4 of articles. 2 of them are research articles.
These are grading criteria. Please make sure you covers all of them.

*Correct APA format in reference section and in body of paper
-3 points for reference section at end of section in correct APA format
-3 points for correct APA format in referencing articles in body of paper

-When describe the approach, can do it “in theory”, but at some point need to apply it to your client….show it “in action”

-2 points for detailed description of how this approach addresses the therapy relationship
In addition to describing what it looks like, talk about how, according to the
theory, the relationship contributes to good outcomes
How is alliance established
How important is the relationship in this therapy?

-2 points for detailed description of how this approach addresses assessment
Refers to how information is gathered
What information is deemed important in this school of thought
Can also include whether and how assessment is used throughout therapy

-2 points for detailed description of how this approach addresses therapy goals
What goals typically set using this approach
What these goals specifically would look like for your client
How are goals established

-2 points for detailed description of specific types of interventions and their rationale
This refers to “how” goals will be reached, techniques that will be used
Some specificity of what this might look like with your client

-2 points for detailed description of how this approach addresses issues of diversity
What issues might come up with culturally diverse clients
If state that it can be adapted, what adaptations needed

-10 points for an integration of what your 2 research articles say about the effectiveness and appropriateness of this approach, including attention to 1) nature of sample, what was being measured and how, 3) results
*4 points for clear writing style

Bring in both articles for support
Answer the question, “Why should we believe you?”
Include measures, outcomes, participants, how intervention delivered
Don’t rely on a quote to describe most of the study—that is your job!
In addition to reporting on the findings, provide interpretation of why these
Should support your using it with your client

Identifying themes in your literature is very important because it helps you create a scaffold for your literature review.

Submit the following assignment to the M4: Assignment 2 Dropbox by Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Identifying themes in your literature is very important because it helps you create a scaffold for your literature review. Without knowing themes, patterns, and trends, the literature review usually reads like a meaningless list with no connection between one study and the next. Also, without identification of themes, there is no appreciation of how scholars are actually having a conversation on paper regarding their discoveries.

By now you have taken part in multiple exercises and assignments which were intended to assist you in clarifying the themes you will pull together in and through your literature review. Now is the time to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), and to take all of the preparatory work you have done and to actualize it in a draft of your literature review.

For this assignment, you will develop a Title page, Abstract, and a References page. Articulate your main research/focal question as the opening for your paper. Be sure it is specific, researchable, and important to the field. Then go on to list a detailed outline of the body of the paper, (including all headings and subheadings). Be sure to format your entire paper, including the headings and subheadings according to APA style.

here is one of my previous essays i wrote.

Music is always around my world. Music is the most important thing for me.I was born into  a musical family. My father is a music teacher in the Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He is the director of Brass and Woodwinds. He teaches Trombones and Tubas.

My family lived on campus since my mother became pregnant. My father’s colleagues always said I am growing with music. When I was three years old, I learned violin with my neighbor who taught violin in The Shanghai Conservatory of music. Since I was going  to school, I did not have time for practice, but I still watched the musical and opera on the way to school in my father’s car. Fantasia is still my favourite musical. There is one piece that influenced me a lot — “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin. This piece had an amazing piano part. I heard a lot of piano music before, but that one made me interested in piano. When I was six years old, my first instrument moved to my room: a piano. At the beginning, It was not very good start. I did not know how to read the music until I had lessons with my piano teacher for about three months. My dad was really mad about this, or he can not believe it. I could play a sonata, but I could not read music. I watched my teacher’s hand moving carefully and listened to the music around and around. The I could play it and without sheet music.

When I was 3rd grade, my school work was getting harder. That reduced my happiness.I did not have enough time for practice, but I still kept practicing everyday. On my eighth birthday party, my father’s friend who was my first harp teacher gave me the best gift a little harp. I always said the harp was my favourite ‘toy’.

A lot of people asked me, ‘your father is a trombone teacher, why didn’t you choose trombone?’ Although I did not learn trombone with my father, I learned a lot of things from him. He always gave some suggestions for practice and choosing music. I went to my father’s school since I was in the 4th grade. Then everything changed, I became more confident and more outbound. I went abroad for exchange programs many times. I went to different countries. I learned different cultures and the different ways of study. I want to Europe every summer for summer camp. Since I went to Europe, I knew how the composers were thinking and feeling because classical music is not from my country. I wanted know more about the real classical music. Music changed my life and made me better.
