Essay Assignment 4: Argumentative Synthesis
Your fourth major writing assignment is an argumentative synthesis of any three articles in the American Dream chapter of your They Say / I Say textbook.
You will need to begin researching the topic the sources address in order to add at least two more relevant sources to these. You will need to present a research proposal by November 11th and an annotated bibliography by November 20th. The research proposal should include the three articles from the textbook that you will use, how you will connect them, your thesis, and your plans for further research. The annotated bibliography is a list of all of your sources you will use in the essay with summaries and evaluations.
