Annotated Bibliography
“Why is Hong Kong protesting?” BBC News. N.p., 18 Oct. 2014. Web. 11 Nov. 2014.
This article talks about the general situation of the Hong Kong protests starting from the cause to the expected degree of violence resulting from the protest. This publication suggests that the current Hong Kong protests are the largest in terms of scales experienced. Additionally, the article suggests that the protestors are continually falling out to other regions including MongKok. This article also i9ntroduces the use of tear gas by the police in maintaining and controlling order during the protests.
From the information that the use of the tear gas by the police to control the crowds fueled the protests, I would suggest that the best way of dealing with the protestors would be to allow for peaceful protests first. Allowing for peaceful protests at the initial stages of the protests would give them time t identify the troublemakers. In the case of the identification of the troublemakers, the police would device more forceful measures in case the trouble persists.
First identification of the troublemakers would give them time to deal with them immediately and instill some discipline in the rest of the protestors. If the peaceful protests fail to work, the police can then apply more force by using the tear gasses, truncheons and water cannons.

For instance, there should be no interference from Beijing concerning the matter.
Moreover, despite how time-consuming and expensive it might be, the Committee should revisit the reform once more and make amendments where applicable.
