With reference to the allegations in the topic statement, you are asked to discuss diagnostics in relation to the Nurse Practitioner role. You are asked to critically assess the literature, analyse and synthesise a range of views to underpin the application of diagnostic knowledge and skills to your role.This will include identifying possible or actual evidence based or best practice. Assessment will focus on your ability to critically analyse the issues emerging within your department (palliative care) as well as the application of your theoretical and clinical knowledge to develop a plan which supports advanced clinical practice, while enhancing clinical care within the multidisiplinary team.
