Suppose you want to submit an article on a topic of your choice to a research journal of critical development studies. You want to build this article on the novel/movie you worked with in the course. How do you proceed? What title do you give your article? What is your research interest? What kind of relevant knowledge does the novel/movie communicate? What story does it tell about (encounters with) development? Whose story/stories? What did you find interesting and why?
Write a draft version. The draft version should include:
·A possible research question
·An argumentative part, relating to critical discourses on representation (use the literature we discussed in the first part of the term)
·An interpretative part, in which you elaborate a relevant aspect of the novel/movie
·A list of references and a bibliography with further reading
The book that you should use ”Emma’s War” by Deborah Scroggins. I have a few chapters of the book. I will upload them for you but hopefully you can find the book from any library because it is a well known book!
You should follow every academic writing rules.. she is a little obsessed with plagiarism and the stuff !!please be careful on this. You can use the other related sources and articles from anywhere.. i will also upload an example homework for you which is given by my friend and successfully noted by teacher. but you can use that just for inspiration to start.. please don’t use the same structure! she knows everyword of that!! 🙂
