Job Title: Sales Manager (Hotel/ Hospitality Industry)

Job Type: Full time
Timetable: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch break)
Over-all Objective:
This position will be tasked to manage and direct the actual implementation of sales strategies for the company’s products and services; identify, assess and meet sales targets and revenue quotas through generation of new clients and maintaining of repeat businesses; manage client relations and customer issues to ensure clients’ satisfaction; take care of people development through trainings, incentives and employee engagement programs as well as manage the whole sales team; analyze data generated in relation to sales performance that will serve as basis in coming up with programs and activities for the hotel; and help maintain overall image of hotel.
Job Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for generating sales, managing accounts and getting new businesses.
2. Achieve sales targets and operational efficiency and help in overall operations of hotel.
3. Manage client relations, address customer issues, complaints and any other concerns.
4. Study customer feedback and suggestions and consider them for future sales initiatives.
5. Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization to get more clients.
6. Implement programs and events for the sales of rooms and banquet services of the hotel.
7. Come up with promotional packages, discounted rates and other incentives for the clients.
8. Review regularly past sales revenue history to project future sales potential and revenue.
9. Ensure proper and strategic implementation of sales plans, programs and procedures.
10. Follow established guidelines, standards and other operating procedures of the hotel.
11. Determine and manage budget allocation to address all budget needs of the department.
12. Act as company representative at sales missions, conferences, conventions, events and other activities to promote the hotel, its products and any other promotional services.
13. Plan and project manpower and other hiring requirements, organize training programs, as well as performance evaluations, including management of the whole sales team.
