For your final paper you will advance and support an original thesis that examines one of the illustrated primary texts we have studied this semester as a multimedia work. In other words, your analysis must focus on the relationship between the illustrations and the literary text. This 5-6 page, close-reading paper does not require additional research; however, you may choose to use some of the secondary readings we have studied this semester. Papers should follow MLA guidelines for formatting and include parenthetical citations and a works cited page for all texts referenced.
