2.Essays are to exceed 500 words and be less than 1000 words.
3.Essays are to include a minimum of three sources: one primary source, one secondary source and the required text. Each source must be cited in-text and direct quotes used.
4.Essays are to be free of grammar, spelling, syntax and usage errors.
5.Essays are to be double-spaced, typed in Times New Roman 12-point font, and include, as required by the Chicago style, a title page, footnotes and a properly formatted bibliography.
6.Essays must be submitted as an attached Microsoft Word document.
7.Essays are to be submitted by the stated deadline. No late submissions accepted.
8.Essays are to be submitted the appropriate assignment link. No email submissions accepted.
9.Essays are to include a well-constructed, highly focused thesis statement on a topic of your choice, but one chosen from the topics covered in the chapters examined and discussions conducted in the two weeks since the prior essay. Topics and topic selection will be discussed in the corresponding discussion forum dedicated to each essay.
