Coursework Specification
A major activity of both ITIL and TOGAF is the creation of a repository of documentation of models that describe the functions, processes, activities, and artefacts of the business. Of course for organisations adopting the ITIL and or TOGAF frameworks this will include models of the ITIL and TOGAF functions, processes, activities and artefacts.
For this coursework you are required to develop a set of models of the key elements ITIL and TOGAF in Visual Paradigm using UML and BMPN.
As the list below shows there are quite a lot of things to be modelled however, because the framework define standard formats for describing things once you have completed the first couple model creation is fairly swift and straightforward and you can concentrate on the details the models encapsulated.
Both ITIL and TOGAF have foundation level certification programs that require a detailed knowledge of these artefacts and how they fit together. On successful completion of this coursework you will be well placed to become certified should you wish to.
