Throughout the course of the semester, weve been exploring how different authors attempt to answer the question of What is human? Now I want you to answer this question. For your final essay, Id like you to hand in a two-page response to what you think human is. Reflect back on some of the representations of humanity, inhumanity, dehumanization, and othering from the texts weve read or viewed. Consider whether or not your concept of humanity has changed at all from the beginning of the semester.

Additionally: At the bottom of your essay, include a short quote (three sentences or less) from any of the texts that weve read along with a page number. Then, you must explain why this quote resonated with you.
