In this essay, you will apply these materials and approaches to a current news event related to women’s studies.

Choose a recent news article (published within the past year) about women that you believe would prove useful in a discussion in a women’s studies course.
Using the material in your course readings and the course modules for support (use quotes!), make explicit connections between your article and women’s studies. Be sure to cite your sources.
