- Choose a family/individual and describe how a social structuralist as compared to an individualist would explain the reasons for their poverty. (This means you will need to describe the family from both perspectives and explain how they are different). Use specific examples from the video and course materials. (For this question it is critical that you separate your own opinions about the validity of the two perspectives from the perspectives themselves.)
