Write a mini-essay about the three papers in each group, and point out specific qualities of each paper that are either appealing or not. Do make note of aspects like spelling errors or confusing material.

Project description
As we all know, the newspaper industry has changed dramatically over the last several years. Most papers are still in business, but they have shifted a lot of their emphasis to online sites. What I would like you to do is evaluate some newspaper websites for quality of content, ease of finding information, creativity, appealing design, and any other factors that would draw you to or away from the sites.

Please select three large-city newspapers (population over 1 million) and three small-city newspapers (population under 100,000) — use census data to check on a city\’s population. Also pick three college newspapers, not including the one at FAU.

Write a mini-essay about the three papers in each group, and point out specific qualities of each paper that are either appealing or not. Do make note of aspects like spelling errors or confusing material. Many newspapers rush their stories to get them online before the competition. Sometimes that leads to mistakes, and even incomplete or shoddy reporting. Look for examples of that.

I don\’t want to get any more specific here; this assignment is for you to discover the papers and evaluate them. Do avoid news sites such as Huffington Post or Google News…we want real newspapers that have an online operation.

Many newspapers serve more than one town or community, of course. But please use the census data for the home city of each newspaper. Cite the population of that city when discussing each newspaper.

Again, these should be real newspapers that have websites. If you can\’t hold it in your hands, it doesn\’t fit the definition for this assignment. I am looking for a faily detailed analysis, give this is the only assignment of the week. So please spend some time on it.

Labour market Analysis

It is intended that you will develop knowledge of a labour market of interest to a sufficient depth that you would be able to discuss it in detail at an interview/assessment centre. Evaluate the current status of the sector using any three components of a PESTLE approach (political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental influences). Think about recent policy changes, impacts of current economic environment, social trends, technological developments etc and how they may positively or negatively influence your chosen labour market (growth, change and how etc). This should be a well-researched and referenced extended evaluation using the same academic skills that you would apply to any other Level 3 assignment.

ASSESSMENT:
One research paper comprising a total 4000 words.

For a named issue of global public health concern, (Lung Cancer) critically
explore TWO of the factors that contribute to the problem,
for example culture, and economics,
and suggest ways in which these may be mitigated in order
to help to improve outcomes for affected populations.

Guidlines:
A research paper is not simply an informed summary of a topic by means of
primary and secondary sources. The goal of a research paper is not to inform
the reader what others have to say about a topic, but to draw on what others
have to say about a topic and engage the sources in order to thoughtfully offer
a unique perspective on the issue at hand. You may use subheadings to write
this research paper.

Psychology

Project description
As complete a picture as possible of the persons behavior (introverted, impulsive, etc).
As much of the persons developmental history as possible that may be related to current personality characteristics. As an example, from a social learning perspective, one could infer timid behavior on the part of an adult female due to modeling the same behavior she observed in her mother. Or from a Freudian point of view one could view hoarding behaviors in adult life as reflecting fixation at the anal stage of development.
A thorough review of the theories you choose and their specific application to the personality you choose.
The Theory options are Interpsychic, ego analytic, object relation, behavior and learning, social learning, humanistic and existential.

Seeing how we just elected a new president I figured the paper should be written about Donald Trump, if that is an issue please let me know.

write an engaging, thought-provoking persuasive opinion piece.

Your operational goal is, of course, to write an engaging, thought-provoking persuasive opinion piece. This piece will construct an erudite and cogent argument while also trading on the ethos and name of the byliner, and is so compelling that the Journal is inclined to run it.
Your mission goal is to increase the knowledge and positively affect the attitudes and behaviors of the Journals readers vis–vis the topic of the state of writing and writing education in the United States.
b. Your op-ed should discuss this initiative within a context of we cant leave writing education behind in Americas quest to excel in math and science education.
c. You want to respond to (or springboard from) the Mullich piece to make your point that writing education deserves attention as well.
3. Think about the kinds of appeals or persuasive strategies youll employ.
4. Think about what you want the op-ed to accomplish:
a. Persuade readers that the state of writing and writing education in America is worthy of attention.
b. Get readers (think about who reads the Journal) to consider pledging to the initiative without overtly asking them to do so.
c. Remember, U.S. businesses lose nearly $3 billion annually due to poor workplace writing (see National Commission on Writing, 2004, found in the Week 1 course folder). This is a large amount of money, but ask yourself if it is big bucks within the context of the overall U.S. economy. Context is important.

How did generations that followed continue or discontinue the tradition? Did we learn anything from it? What was its lasting legacy?

Complete the University of Phoenix Material: Economic, Political, and Social Adversity Challenges a Nation.
Format your assignment according to appropriate course-level APA guidelines.
Submit your assignment to the Assignment Files tab.

To be successful on this assignment:
EVENT: Please list the event you choose to research in this column.
IDENTIFY: Please summarize the event. What happened? What led up to it? When did it happen? Where did it happen? Who was involved? How did it occur?
SIGNIFICANCE: Historical significance is the most important part of the matrix because it is where you will demonstrate your critical thinking skills! It is how something is important or significant in terms of history. Ask yourself the key questions: How were they important in their own time? Did this importance continue throughout the generations? How did this change things that followed? How did generations that followed continue or discontinue the tradition? Did we learn anything from it? What was its lasting legacy?
REFERENCE: Please include the source(s) you consulted to reach your conclusions. Please use APA format.
About Your Sources: Please remember that the sources you consult must be credible and reliable. Are you unsure what it means to be \”credible\” and \”reliable?\” No worries! This website is a very useful tool in learning how to identify quality sources appropriate for college-level work. https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/588/02/

Student Materials Under Student Materials to the right, you can find the rubric I will use to evaluate this Learning Activity. Please review it and use it as a checklist for success!
