Mythology Rankian Analysis of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone

This is for a Mythology class. In this second Reaction Paper, you will examine and discuss the classification process of finding the archetype of the hero in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone using the elements of Rankian analysis found in Chapter 42, page 665, of your text. You will examine the ideas and values presented in Harry Potter and what these elements reveal about our modern society.

After you complete the reading and view the film, please compose a brief essay of 200-400 words examining how Harry Potter fulfills (or does not fulfill) the 10 elements of the hero as presented by Otto Rank. Within your examination, discuss:
1.Whether or not you think Harry Potter fits all 10 of Ranks categories for a hero. The text says Harry fulfills 8 of the 10. Do you agree or disagree? Why?.
2.How Harry Potter fits the archetype of the hero..
3.What values are revealed about Harry Potter as he develops through the course of the film?.
4.Why you think so many people became fans of Harry Potter, the boy who lived, and cheered for him to defeat Voldemort? What draws us to this story? How do we identify with it?.

This should be your own original analysis and should be presented as a cohesive short essay in which you integrate your answers to the above questions. Do not write this as a series of short answer responses to the questions. Use only the film and the assigned readings as the basis for your analysis. This is not a formal essay, but should follow academic writing conventions related to grammar and APA/MLA style for referencing and citation of your text and the film.

psychological measures

In clinical settings throughout the nation, a great deal of quantitative data is collected daily, albeit generally not for the purposes of research. Focusing on physiologic measures that you frequently evaluate in your practice, what factors impact accuracy, precision, and potential for error? What can you do to ensure the quantitative data you collect, assess, and act on is valid?

Define a vulnerable population.

The needs of families evolve over time. Maurer and Smith (2013) delineate a range of social factors that influence family health and access to care such as: family structure, poverty, loss of the main provider, cultural beliefs, immigration status, and health care needs.Discuss the challenges of the professional CHN when providing health care and access for the multi-problem family that is also part of a vulnerable population.• First, define a vulnerable population.•Second, define multi-problem family.•Third, identify the specific vulnerable population for the multi-problem family in your discussion.ReferenceMaurer, F., & Smith, C. Include some additional information that you were able to find on the topic, some critical questions about the research/ reviews , or connections you are able to make. Read your peers posts and offer insight on four other student\’s definitions. Was the definition similar to yours? Did they make you think about something you had not originally considered? Can you add something to their definition. You may critique each other in this, but choose your words in a way that won\’t offend.
