Essay should address why you selected OT as a career and how an Occupational Therapy degree relates to your immediate and long-term professional goals. Describe how your personal, educational, and professional background will help you achieve your goals.
– Ever since a little girl I\’ve known I\’ve wanted to work in the health field. I started working with children when teaching gymnastics to ages 4-18 for 4 years. I realized my passion in those moments ( include how teaching gymnastics relates to occupational therapy using similar skills to teach as to rehabilitate.) I also volunteered with a recreational cheerleading team to help instruct the team through the season. Before beginning college my vision was blurry. I knew I was a hands on person, wanted to work in the health field, and knew with children and to do little amount of school. My cousin is a nurse and one day at the gym we ran into her friend that was an occupational therapist. When she introduced me to her she said \” now this is someone who actually loves her job\”. So i briefly asked my cousin afterwards.. What is an occupational therapist? I had no idea what occupational therapy was. I did a quick google search and became interested in it. That same year we found out my autistic brother needed occupational therapy. out of curiosity i went with him to one of his sessions to watch. I immediately became obsessed with the career. From one second to the next I knew and did not doubt my future career..
– OT relates to my long term goals because it is my future. I want to help people in need for the rest of my life.

Supplemental information may include material from other texts, the internet, and scholarly journal articles. All supplemental material must be cited accordingly. Students may include experiential class activities, videos, etc., in their presentations. Your presentation should be structured to follow the order of the following questions (be sure to clearly address each question):
What theorist(s) is/are associated with the theory?
When did the theory originate?
What are the key constructs of the theory?
How applicable is the theory to our diverse society today? Do all components of your theory apply to all segments of our society (age, gender, ethnicity, S.E.S, religious, sexual orientation, varying abilities, etc.)
Is there criticism of this theory? If so, briefly summarize
To what degree is the theory supported by research literature?
What do you personally think of the theory? How relevant is it to your own life? (Give an example of how it may, or may not, apply to your own life) (10%)
Issue Paper #2 (Cybersecurity)This paper should present an argument concerning an issue in cybersecurity. You should first define a topic area (general and specific), then identify an issue within that topic area and put forward an argument concerning that issue. Your argument should incorporate at least three of the four types of claim. Provide data or other supporting evidence to bolster your main and supporting points.Note: do NOT use structural subheaders (such as General Topic, Issue, Argument, etc) in the paper. Although these elements should be in the content, you do not need to flag them with a special subheader.EXAMPLEGeneral topic: Network securitySpecific topic: Wi-Fi securityQuestion: How safe are these networks, really?Issue: Public and free wi-fi networks are becoming more popular, but may present security risksArgument: More efforts are needed to educate the public about best practices when using public networks.Examples/evidence: A recent poll showing the level of concern (not very high) among public wi-fi users (Links to an external site.); comments by experts; data on security incidents; interviews with network users.EXAMPLEGeneral topic: Business strategyQuestion: Are companies planning for the long-term or simply reacting to immediate or near-term market conditions?Issue: Many companies focus on the short-term and pay insufficient attention to long-term trends.Argument: Companies must balance responding to short-term needs with anticipating longer-term developments.Examples/evidence: Borders, the defunct bookstore chain, failed to anticipate and prepare for the long-term business challenge posed by devices such as Kindle and services such as Amazon. It waited until the situation became critical and the response was \”too little, too late.\”Length: 700-800 words

Who is going to do the work? What is the rate? If you are using your employer, you do not have to reveal actual salary amounts. Let\’s be realistic, but you can change the numbers. I want this to be realistic, but I am more interested in the thought processes you put into calculating costs. Besides the labor associated with each activity in the schedule, what additional costs might you and your project team encounter? Yes, it may be helpful to submit your updated MS Project file along with your MS Word document this week. When thinking about risk, what is involved in risk analysis? Do we need to understand this as we develop the risk management plan? Remember, I want to see you being able to apply information from our reading. These are points to consider as you work on this week\’s assignment.
requirement for the essay.Considering Lorraine Hanesberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, define the lesson that comes from Karl Lindner’s characters.1) Make the case for appalling Karl Lindner, arguing from his point of view.2) Define the role society plays and what makes the characters act as they do.3)Keep in mind that Lindner is the only white person appearing on this stage and through he tries to be civil and courteous, we naturally do not like him. your goal is to think of his position and the late 1950\’s, early 1960\’s time period. His mindset is influenced by his society, the culture at the time. Though you likely find him abhorrent, become him. Take his side. Explain his motivation, his interests, his personality, everything you can imagine about him, given his role and the 1960\’s he represents. This effort naturally requires a look at the 50s-60s-what examples in the history help to explain his character\’s racism and the general socioeconomic limitations that are being placed on his family. Make your reader understand his case.4) Need to use quotes to support your claims and there must be evidence for the assumption you draw from the play.5) Be sure to use MLA form: 1.Lead in to the support 2. give the support […]\”\’ (Hansberry ACT II scene i);3. explain the support.6) perhaps your\’ll have Karl(you) describe- the problem, the plan, the justification, the encounter- to the board members, his buddy at the local soda fountain, his mother, wife, children. Get personal.7) Deliver story details in present tense!8)Trying to understand his character by arguing from his perspective, stepping outside of your personal comfort and reason.
