Explain how Sexual Abuse and Misconduct in Church causes problem & how it affects the society.

Weaknesses in your presentation include: omission of two or more document parts; omission of an original opening paragraph; unclear explanation of relevant theologians in Kerr. In your paper, I recommend that you have three major parts: 1. Facts of the crisis; 2. the church’s apology and reparation; 3. How the church will cooperate with the rest of the world in preventing this crisis in the future. Also, consider including a critique of mandatory celibacy as possibly attracting ministerial candidates with deviant habits. Perhaps Vatican II’s documents Optatam Totius and Gaudium et Spes (especially art. 43 on sins) could be quoted and developed further.

Consider those though:
A- Some Parts that would be statistic what actually happened? How does the abuse compare to other churches?

B- And, would bring focus to the healing needed outside the confines of the Church for those who are abused and abusers in the world, which would not only bring focus to the global scope of the problem that exists both within and outside the confines of the Church, but also link to Dr. Cross’ focus within the lead document on the Holy Spirit’s presence in the entire world, not just the world of believers.

C- attempt to explain how this problem causes & affects not only the Church but society overall.
