In this assignment, you will write a 2500 word essay (not counting references) based upon the title that you have been given.

You will answer the opening question, combining learning from the 60058 lecture programme with supporting secondary research. You will also integrate observations from participating in the 60058 assignment 1 simulation and make meaningful conclusions and recommendations. It will be a challenge to do this in 2500 words. Ultimately, you should be able to conclude something meaningful about the role of commercial management in the management of projects.

Topic Guidance
Choosing a topic, narrowing it and determining where to get information may pose some difficulty at first. Asking yourself why you are a hospitality management major may give you direction. We’ve had students who want to become event planners, open bistros, manage a bed and breakfast, work at an airline, etc. Whatever your goal is, you will be forced to confront many of the legal issues presented in this course as you pursue it. We’ve also had students grapple with a topic that seems too large such as “The legal aspects of starting a restaurant.” This can be reduced to a manageable size by choosing several legal topics related to starting a restaurant and focusing on those at the expense of the multitude of others. Some options for research sources include conducting live interviews, use of the Internet, legal pamphlets by regulatory agencies, etc. Overall, you are given great latitude in choosing your thesis and how to research it because we want the paper to be personalized.

CONTEXT
• As senior leaders, Sergeants Major have a significant role in the climate of their organizations, especially when it comes to the area of stress. Increasing Patient Safety and Decreasing Nurse Liability with Mandatory Patient-Nurse Ratios Regulation

THESIS STATEMENT: Based on the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, each state is empowered to establish laws to protect the citizens of the respective state . Mandatory nurse-patient ratios laws should be passed in all jurisdictions as soon as possible to decrease the level of medical errors, violations of standards of care, and nurse’s liability . At the same time as it would increase positive outcomes, patient safety and the right to advocate for them. Public protection mandate is the state responsibility for establishing standards for health care professionals who provide services for citizens of that state . Mandatory nurse-patient ratios became law in California in 1999 with the passage of Assembly Bill 394, which mandated minimum, specific, and numerical nurse-patient ratios in hospitals . Although other states have introduced similar legislative plans, none of them has had successful on implementing the regulation. The Florida Patient Protection Act , under the bill SB 1732:Health Care, was filled on March 2013 and died on May 2103.
