The assignment is to do an analysis of your own on an advertisement for the NRA; it’s part of a series of ads which ran about 30 years ago and tried to change the public’s perception of who “is” the NRA. (Another ad in the series spotlights a business woman who works late at night and carries a small gun in her purse for protection.)
Analyze the advertisement for the NRA and its effectiveness. Discuss ways the advertisement tries to get the public to see the NRA in a more positive light, and evaluate the success of those attempts.
