Explain how the study of soldiers in The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien grants a new understanding of the lives of combatants after a recent conflict. This could examine PTSD in the United States, Iraqi Coalition Forces, and Afghan National Army combatants who have survived tours of duty in Iraq and Afghan . It could examine the lives of child soldiers who survived the civil war in Liberia and who are now adults.
