There are two things that have shaped our strategy – our purpose and the changing environment in which we operate. Introduction Aegon UK is a Pension, Insurance and Investment Company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the brand name for Scottish Equitable plc and is a subsidiary of Aegon N.V. a multi-national life insurance, pension and asset management company headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands. The AEGON Group has 27,000 employees and over 25 million customers worldwide. Its major markets are in the USA and Netherlands.

In this discussion we will examine more closely the data on the changing demographics of the U.S. population. Remembering that we are a nation of immigrants, that we promise a better life to those who wish to come here, work hard, and follow our laws, we cannot deny the strains and conflicts that arise when large numbers of immigrants are entering the U.S. each year. We will examine these recent immigrants who identify themselves as Hispanic on the Census Bureau data—the fastest growing segment of the population. Remember that many Hispanics here today come from families that have been U.S. citizens for centuries. The history of the southwestern states and Puerto Rico is a history of Hispanic peoples from before the U.S. was a country.

Objective: To understand the importance of engagement and relationship at all levels of intervention, and to begin to practice assessment skills.

Thesis
Criminal theories designed to emphasize female offenders are woefully inadequate at describing large scale criminal trends and fail to represent the vast majority of criminals.
