MOD 4 CASE:
Few CEOs have been subject to as much criticism and attacks as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Most famously, he was portrayed as the villain in the movie The Social Network. Shareholders have complained about his leadership and failure to increase the stock price of Facebook, and others have claimed he is socially inept and too young and immature to be a CEO of a multibillion-dollar corporation.
However, in spite of this criticism Zuckerberg is inarguably one of the most successful CEOs and entrepreneurs in corporate history. The small project that he created while he was a college student has become world dominant in the social media business and is still growing and expanding. So in spite of all of the criticism he clearly has been a successful leader.
For this Case Assignment, do some research in the online library and find out what you can about Zuckerberg’s leadership style. Take a look at the criticisms as well as what you think he is doing right or what lead him to his strong success.

Write a short argumentative essay (double spaced, 2 pages long) based on the following prompt. (25 points)
This week’s two central texts, Anne Moody’s Coming of Age in Mississippi and chapter one of Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique, almost seem to describe two distinct Americas; yet they each portrayed real issues having profound effects on the lives, possibilities, and physical and psychological health of American women in the late 1950s and early 1960s. While Friedan’s book identified a “problem” so undefined and under- acknowledged in 1963 that it “ha[d] no name” and no obvious mode of action to address it, Anne Moody described a clearly-defined set of social problems and the concrete actions she and other African Americans (and their white allies) took to combat those problems.
Write an essay that describes these distinct social conflicts faced by American women in the early 1960s and the efforts undertaken to confront them. 2) Make sure your essay puts a name to the central “problems” defined by both Moody’s book and that presented by Friedan (though women in 1963 could not “name” that problem, we, with the benefit of history and the freedom and language it has given us, can).
Then, 3) discuss how both the African American Freedom Struggle (Civil Rights Movement) chronicled by Anne Moody and Friedan’s ground-breaking Feminine Mystique may have contributed to the emergence of Second-Wave Feminism by the end of the decade.

Patricia Williams uses her own personal narrative as a structure to how she models her essay. She also uses descriptive language, dialogue, figurative language, and metaphors to raise her themes.
Similarly to Patricia Williams, draft an essay based on your own personal narrative linking to issues relative to racism against Black/Black culture. Use the rhetorical strategies i.e. personal narrative and descriptive language like Patricia Williams. Do not however, raise the points of Patricia Williams, as this should be a personal narrative of your own story, and your own themes. The personal narrative does not have to be genuine, but make sure it is based on a personal story (Doesn’t have to be real, but make sure it’s in the perspective of a Korean if possible). Make sure your narrative essay is linking relative themes to Black racism as this is on Black literature and freedom. Make sure the themes of this essay is backed up with articles, pictures/images as part of your research.
