The following are the primary hypotheses of this study:

1. There is a relationship between severity of malocclusion and psycho-social well-being factors, such as oral aesthetic, self-esteem, bullying, etc.
2. The child’s motivation to seek orthodontic treatment is associated with the parent’s motivation to seek treatment.
3. Children with severe malocclusion are more likely to have academic problems at school than those with mild malocclusion.
4. Children with severe malocclusion are more likely to have lower self-esteem than those with mild malocclusion…etc.
5. Psycho-social impact of malocclusion is higher among girls (i.e., girls with malocclusion are more motivated to seek orthodontic treatment than boys).

There is only one more task I need you to complete. I need you to recommend some recruitment and selection strategies for the client. Check the Client Communication to make sure you have all the information you’ll need.
