First Part
For this paper pick Wal-Mart as a Multinational Corporation (MNC). For your second part, you are to perform some preliminary investigation into the MNC you chose (coca cola)by performing a brief survey and creating a portfolio. Start with the history of the organization and provide some brief background into how the organization entered the international stage and how globalization has played a part in the organization’s growth.
When creating the portfolio, you should provide examples of the types of transactions the MNC has made within foreign exchange markets and if there are netting arrangements the organization has made. You should also investigate the purpose of the company’s actions and what this will mean for them in short-term and long-term arrangements with other corporations. For example:
• Did they have to purchase stock of a company
• Will they owe significant monies due to the foreign exchange deal
• Will this affect their cash flow
• Will the appreciation or depreciation of exchange rates affect their transaction

Discuss the Challenges of land warfare faced by the Australian army

Essay would have a background heading in the beginning and the rest of the headings of your choice ending with conclusion heading.

Task 1 The Research Design Proposal (50%)

The research proposal must include a background which describes the basic situation underlying your project.

It must include a statement of the problem or opportunity that is the aim of your project. It must describe the rationale for your project, why you wish to carry out this research and the benefits that will accrue from its successful conclusion.

You must create research objectives that, when you successfully complete them, will have the information that enables you to solve the problem or capitalise on the opportunity that is the aim of your research.

You must evaluate and fully describe the research methods that will be necessary to successfully complete the research. Data collection methods must be selected and described which are consistent with the research philosophy necessary for its completion: these will include secondary and primary data sources. The methods by which the data you collect will be analyzed need to be justified.

Finally, ethical, validity and reliability issues relevant to the research must be discussed and a time plan for its completion must be calculated and displayed as a Gantt chart (or another suitable format).

-Concept/theory connection: Relate your experiences and observations to different leadership concepts/theories . I would rather see a few theories (3-4) discussed in depth
