Using chapter 07 of The McDonaldization of Society, explain the contradiction of costs within the McDonaldization system. McDonaldization is supposed to lead to lower costs, but in fact, higher costs are often associated with the use of McDonaldized systems. Use PHStat to prepare a few standard analyses, with the data set  and then briefly explain what each one means. This shouldn’t take more than 1-3 hours, for someone that knows PHStat and the basic principles of statistical analysis. This is a prep course, for non-math majors (business), so nobody in the course really knows what they are doing.
