A strategic management plan is vital for the company business today. Review the company scenario at the beginning of the course for additional information regarding growth goals. Create a basic strategic management plan for PPQ Parts including quantifiable goals and measures. Include the following in your report:

Provide environmental scanning of current conditions in the area of expansion including economy, competition, political stability, and so forth.
Address internal resource analysis such as managerial and financial strengths and weaknesses.
Please include short-term and long-term strategic goals.

The purpose of the Final Project is to demonstrate your understanding of crime prevention programs and the role crime prevention plays in the overall criminal justice system. You may select a crime prevention program that addresses law enforcement, the courts, or corrections; or it may be a comprehensive program that addresses all three. The program may address the adult justice system, juvenile justice systems, or both.

For the purposes of this assignment, assume you are preparing a proposal to a city, county, or state governmental body to recommend the implementation of a crime prevention program within their jurisdiction. You need to demonstrate the value of the crime prevention program and its effectiveness in reducing crime, which in turn will reduce the overall costs to the jurisdiction and justify the additional expenditures to the community.

Your proposal must include:

A summary of the jurisdiction (i.e., city, county, or state) and the portion of the criminal justice system your proposal is designed to address.
An analysis of the current trends from three comparable cities in population size, utilizing the SARA model and the Crime Analysis Triangle. (Note: Crime Analysis for Problem Solvers in 60 Small Steps, Steps 7 and 8). You will analyze the data from three similar jurisdictions and compare it to national data.
A determination of the appropriate crime prevention strategy for the jurisdiction based on this analysis.

Assume you are a consultant to a local business that has asked you to propose an enterprise-wide solution that includes computers, peripherals, and networking solutions such that the entire system is secure.

The business is a small publishing company that has 50 employees. The office is located on one floor of a single story dwelling. There are only pillars holding up the roof and no walls. Each “office” is a single glass cubicle.

Detailed specifications are as follow. Addressing each should comprise a separate section of the body of your proposal.

PC Selection(Consider drafting this topic during Module 2.)

a. The company for which you wish to be hired as a contractor needs to purchase new personal computers. The company requires clarification regarding all technical specifications for the PC’s with justifications for each attribute. a. The company has asked that you provide details regarding the different types of peripheral equipment that can be connected to the computers proposed in the PC Selection section. Include descriptions of the types of connections needed for monitors, storage devices, printers, and any other devices you feel would be appropriate for the scenario described.

b. All proposals should include cost elements.

ZXY Corporation has relocated to a new building that was wired and set up for a local area network (LAN). The company implemented a client/server-based network in which all printers, folders, and other resources are shared but everyone has access to everything and there is no security outside of the defaults that were in place when the system was set up.

You have been hired to secure ZXY’s network and ensure that the company has the highest levels of security to protect against internal and external attacks. In an 8-10 page proposal, include the following items to provide a comprehensive secure environment:

A plan to provide secure access control methods for all user access
A viable password policy, which includes complexity, duration, and history requirements
A cryptography method to ensure vital data is encrypted
A remote access plan to ensure that users who access the network remotely do so in a secure and efficient manner
A thorough plan to protect the network from malware and various types of malicious attacks

Option 1: Research Based on Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart

The Portfolio Project is designed to require you to expand your understanding of Things Fall Apart by combining knowledge and application of content with your own interpretation and judgment. For the Portfolio Project, you will write a research paper about Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, supplementing your own interpretation with information from three to five other sources. Your interpretation of this novel should reflect an international perspective. In addition, you are again expected to provide support for your arguments based upon both the required and recommended readings for the course and your research, as well as to incorporate any relevant points culled from the discussion boards. Finally, you will take the particular research question that you are developing as the thesis of your Portfolio Project and contextualize it in such a way as to convey an international or multicultural understanding of the novel. For example, if you are developing a cultural analysis of the novel, you would need to answer, as a part of your research thesis, how one culture develops in direct competition against the emergence of another foreign culture. Or, if you are developing a feminist analysis, you would need to answer, as a part of your research question, how one culture’s treatment of women changes when confronted by another culture’s differing attitude toward women. Or, if you were doing a direct compare/contrast analysis, you would need to directly compare specific aspects of one culture against another culture.
In other words, any critical perspective from which you frame your thesis and overall paper needs to convey a sharper international or multicultural understanding of the novel and should be reflected in your outline and reference list.

While summary is still an element of the review of literature, the main function of it is to place sources that are discussing a similar point in conversation with one another.
