Preventive medicine residency application personal statement.

Hi,I would to apply for a residency in preventive medicine. I am currently a psychiatry first year resident and would like to change my specialty. What I would to emphasize is that like most med students, the obvious route was that of a clinical one. But now after some experience with research, I would like to switch. Preventive medicine is very research and epidemiology heavy and I really believe that is where the future of medicine is. Big data, statistical analysis and bioinformatics will change the way we practice medicine in the near future. This will lead to helping many people as well as those in undeserved areas. I have a background in finance, and I am really good with number and statistics.I am attaching my previous personal statement for reference on professional careerThanks in advance
