If the system is not adapted, it will not function as required and the services offered to the customers will not be to the required level, while the adjustment of the ERP system may be required during implementation phase, but many literate highlighted the importance of minimizing these customization as a critical success factor for the ERP implementation. The ERP system integrates different core activities as manufacturing, human resources, quality, finance, and supply chain management which will enhance processes standardization across the organization, facilitate rapid decision-making, cost reductions, and greater managerial control. Since this integration was not initially properly exist in the organization; so, the integration process is quite complex to be achieved because it needs a consensus from an entire enterprise to reengineer a core business process and take advantage of the software. (Holland, C. P., & Light, B. 1999).

I believe that the implementation of the ERP project should goes through both approaches, the company needs to start with business process re-engineering before system configuration and then software configuration/customization to align the software with the redesigned business processes. Chin-Fu HoWen-Hsiung WuYi-Ming Tai, (2004) stated that the enterprises must assess the technological & organizational dimensions, the technological compatibility between ERP system and organizations should be considered, as should the organizational BPR problem. The managerial adaptation is the management endeavours dedicated to eliminating discrepancies between two dimensions.
