The best way to research a disaster is to know the complete timeline of important events. This timeline should be as detailed as possible. Be sure to take extra note of when failures occurred.
Instructions: Create a Word document with ascending date and time headers in chronological order. Each timestamped header should have bulleted significant events that occurred within that date/time. Include any important milestones before, during, and after the disaster. Keep in mind that the lingering effects of a disaster can last several years after the event. It is preferable that the event is broken up into time-ranged sections and assigned accordingly to each group member. Submit the group’s findings via Word doc.
