Does the research provide definitive evidence on the effectiveness of the policy? What criteria were used by the researchers? What additional criteria might they have used? What steps did the researchers take to protect against rival hypotheses? How might qualitative research have been used to supplement the findings?(Or, if the evidence is qualitative in nature, how might quantitative research been used to supplement the findings?) How has this research influenced the policy-making process? In what ways would you change the policy in light of the research?
