Choose a company that interests you. It can be the company you currently work at, a past employer, or a company that you’d like to work for in the future. Now research it and apply the concepts from the following chapters. Relate your information to the course materials. In your report address (4) four of the (6) six topics below:
Chap 2: What management theory or combination do you believe the company has adopted? Explain your answer.
Chap 4: Explain the company’s ethical, and social responsibility initiatives, and describe their impact on managerial action.
Chap 5: Discuss the increasing diversity of the workforce and the organizational strategy and/or environment. Chap 10: Describe the type of organizational structure and why you believe the organization has chosen this structure over the others. Paper structure: Part I – Introduction. Overview of your company. Include background, timelines, etc.
Part II – Body. Present your topic area you’ve decided to research. Link class concepts and theories to your chosen topics.
Part III – Conclusion. Reiterate and summarize your findings.
Part IV – Works cited Page: Cite in MLA or APA format (Citations excluded from work count). Word Count: 2300 Presentation guidelines: The presentation is based on the research you did for the term project. It should be between 3 – 5 minutes long.
