Assignment Question
Write an essay that reviews your learning for the course. In it, you will consider the following questions: What is something that expanded your understanding of a topic in women’s literature or you found otherwise informative in our reading(s)? Which of the topics, weeks, or texts resonated with you the most and why? What application might there be for any of the topics outside of the course (e.g. in your work, education, day-to-day life)? Please note that this essay will not be graded with a rubric, but rather Complete/Incomplete. It will, however, be evaluated for clarity, adherence to guidelines, and control of the conventions of standard written English. It should be 500–1,000 words in length when complete. A Works Cited is not necessary unless you paraphrase or quote any texts. To have your assignment marked complete, you must: Meet the minimum word count. Respond to all three questions thoroughly. Provide concrete examples from your personal course experience. It is suggested that you reference specific authors or texts, especially in relation to any discussion of course topics.
