Using a major public health crisis of emergency that occurred since the year 2000, students must comprehensively critique the response to the event. Students should comment on the core topics introduced in TM5563 at JCU.
A) Choose major emergency or disaster that occured since the year 2000. Provide a BRIEF (no more than one paragraph) summary of the event. —> I chose the “Christmas Island Boat Tragedy from Dec 2010”
B) Conduct a comprehensive literature review on the event. (Not you may want to focus your search on the key management/leaderhip issues you want to address for the assignment). You must document a transparent search methodology, including search strategy, sources, data range searched, any limitations and results.
C) Using the literature identified, review and critique the response to the event. Students should comment on the core leadership/ management topics introduced in TM5563. It may be useful to use clear subheading for the issues you are examining. –> Please note I have completed the essay but have received a ‘fail’ and would like to have constructive feedback / re-write to learn from how it should be done
