How do you anticipate changing or iterating on aspects of the solution you developed and tested to increase your longer-term success chances? What does success look like for you, and how will you measure it after launching your concept, product, or experience?

During this final phase, you will synthesize your learnings from implementation. After, you will be able to envision your future trajectories for success. Select a modality and then build your submission with the prompts and guidelines. MODALITIES Whereas an essay is a default, students may develop a narrated presentation, podcast episode, or produce another form of time-based media. If none of your ideas fit into the (above) categories, please contact me to pitch and discuss your ideas at least 1-2 weeks before the deadline. PROMPTS (1) How do you anticipate changing or iterating on aspects of the solution you developed and tested to increase your longer-term success chances? (2) What does success look like for you, and how will you measure it after launching your concept, product, or experience? GUIDELINES Formatting 500–1000 words or 7.5~15 mins, not including references, figures, or intro/outro. Choose as many or as few words/minutes as you need to make your point within this range. Use any recognized format–APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA, or Associated Press. Structure Your submission should have a clear beginning, middle, and end narrative. You can support your claims with primary/secondary sources, peer feedback (if relevant), and design thinking tools (optional), which you can borrow from IDEO or elsewhere. Secondary sources may include readings or observations from class sessions/activities. Cite the class sessions as an online course (APA example). LOs You can use footnotes or an appendix to explain your LO applications briefly. Everyone must highlight #impact. Optionally, you may choose a second LO (#inspiration, #ideation, or #implementation).

——————————————————————————————————————— As business majors, your communication skills are crucial — we want you to write well and expect that your work is clear, concise, and not only proofread but iterated with multiple drafts. To that end, review the IBS: Business Communication Writing Tips (Upper-Level) Guide for additional support with writing a solid paper. In upper-level classes, please focus on the LOs because they are the core components of the course. Building your paper around the LOs is much better than writing an essay and shoving in LO footnotes. You may tag LOs with a footnote to make it clear to you and the Professor where you are trying to highlight specific concepts, but do not explain your application in a footnote. Everything you need to prove this is a good use of the LO should be in the main text.
