Time: 7-10 minutes Our topic: Desire, Choose and research on one or two concepts (such as the concept of time, memory, death, love, desire, truth, reality, history, language, supernatural existence, human compassion, etc.) embedded in our discussion of antihero in relation to a large sociopolitical and historical context of revolution, modernization, social and economic transformation, etc., things that interest the group most. The group should then make a collaborative presentation to the entire class around that/those concept(s) and issues by comparing one of the works discussed in class with one of their own choice from outside of the class. The presentation must be analytical (ability to analyze cause and effect), with a good argument in it. It should have its own thesis statement with an intriguing introduction. Necessary synopsis should be given at the outset. Library/internet research on the various theories regarding the concept or the historical development of it is required. The use of visual aids in group presentation is required.
