Explain which particular elements of Music are relevant to Baltimore, which ones are not, and why.

Music is an aspect of street culture in Baltimore.
Argue how Music is connected to street crime. Start off by defining street culture (see Ilan, 2015). Explain which particular elements of Music are relevant to Baltimore, which ones are not, and why. Then clearly identify instances where we see this kind of continuum between the artifact of Music and its manifestation in street crime in Baltimore.
Writer is encouraged to use a range of sources including books, news articles, movies (both commercial and documentaries). Everything must be properly cited using Justice Quarterly style.

Essay, Law

Project description
This is a IRAC essay. All i need is application and two sentences of conclusion. I do not need issue and Rule because I already wrote it. So this is Downey vs. Bob\’s furniture holdings Inc. Please use the rule 26 described in the text and use it for the application/analysis. Heres a breif explantion of application/analysis

Application/Analysis: This may be the most important portion of the brief. The court will have examined the facts in light of the rule, and probably considered all sides and arguments presented to it. How courts apply the rule to the facts and analyze the case must be understood in order to properly predict outcomes in future cases involving the same issue. What does the court consider to be a relevant fact given the rule of law? How does the court interpret the rule: for example, does the court consider monetary costs of providing security patrols in weighing the burden of preventive measures? Does the court imply that if a business is in a dangerous area, then it should be willing to bear a higher cost for security? Resist the temptation to merely repeat what the court said in analyzing the facts: what does it mean to you? Summarize the courts rationale in your own words. If you encounter a word that you do not know, use a dictionary to find its meaning.

The analysis is the most important, and the longest, part of your answer. It involves applying the Rule to the facts of the problem or question. You should use the facts to explain how the rule leads to the conclusion. Discuss both sides of the case when possible. Important: Do not merely state a conclusion without also stating reasons for it.

A conclusion without reasons or explanation means that you have not used the rule and the facts to analyze the issue. Hint: The rule can be used as a guide in your discussion. Example: Suppose the issue is whether A is an independent contractor. Using the facts of the case, explain whether or not they fit into the definition of what is an independent contractor: In this case, A was told by the foreman what to wear, how to operate the machine, and when to report to work each day, giving her little control over the job. If the rule is a test with multiple factors, then you must analyze each factor by pointing out how the facts do (or do not) fulfill each factor.

Write an essay in which you trace the reasons for Kumalos spiritual development.

By Alan Paton

Stephen Kumalo undergoes a profound experience in Cry, the Beloved Country. Although writers often fail to give readers believable insights into the spiritual development of a character like Kumalo, Paton avoids such an error.
Write an essay in which you trace the reasons for Kumalos spiritual development. What characters, events, and attitudes shape this development? How would you explain the difference in his spiritual state at the end of the novel versus the way we see him at the beginning of the novel?
Remember that a good essay begins with an interesting introductory paragraph with a focusing thesis statement, then moves to body paragraphs that support the thesis using specific elements from the story (including commentary, analysis, reflection, discussion, and short quotes), and ends with a summary conclusion. Always avoid long passages in your essay that simply summarize the plot.

Write an essay that discusses why and how specific symbols are used to depict one or two of the themes from Unit 2 in a particular way.

Format: You are required to use MLA style for all writing assignments. These assignments include the Summary Writing Assignment, the Focused Annotated Bibliography and the Final Researched Essay. Your instructor may also require MLA style for other essay assignments, including the midterm and final exams, and for discussion posts. Therefore, it is important that you understand how to use MLA style correctly.
Note: For all assignments in this class, you are required to use the 7th edition of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. MLA has recently released the eighth edition of its handbook, but do not use this new 8th edition for class assignments. Instead refer to the MLA guide for eCore.pdf or to the 7th edition of the MLA Handbook.

Length Requirement: 750-1000 words

All sources must be cited
Your Process:

Write an essay that discusses why and how specific symbols are used to depict one or two of the themes from Unit 2 in a particular way. Your essay should incorporate details and quotes from the story (using parenthetical documentation with the authors name), and you should use your own words to elaborate on the meanings of the details and quotes you use as evidence. The themes to choose from are:

Love (Romantic, Platonic, or Filial)
Alienation/Otherness
The American Dream/Nightmare
The Quest for Identity/Coming of Age
Conformity/Rebellion
Stories To Choose From:

Kate Chopins The Story of an Hour
Kate Chopins The Storm
Tobias Wolffs Powder
Ray Bradburys There Will Come Soft Rains
Instructions:

When writing your essay, the goal is to demonstrate what spin the story has on a particular theme. Be specific about the ways the theme is used and how the storys use of symbols develops a deeper meaning to the theme. Provide details, including cited direct quotes from the story, but dont forget that you must comment on the quotes you use to explain why they are significant.

As an example, one student might focus on how in Chopins The Storm, the passion between Calixta and Alcee is represented by the symbol of the rain storm and makes a social commentary on the theme of love. Love is a very general term, so this student should note that s/he is focusing on forbidden, or adulterous, romantic love in particular and comment on how that refines the broader theme. One appropriate thesis statement for this particular topic would be something similar to the following:

Although Calixta loves Bobinot, she willingly has a passionate affair with Alcee in order to demonstrate that passion, represented by the storm, is ultimately a symbol of her own female independence.

Then, you would contrast Calixtas relationship with Bobinot with her relationship with Alcee in order to show that Calixta could simultaneously function as an efficient housewife and passionate lover to her husband if society at the time would allow such a woman to exist.
