Using video, photo and documentation resources from FEMA, OSHA, NIOSH, CDC, American Red Cross, and any other national or international agency, develop a Public Service Announcement (PSA) that would be beneficial for the survivors of the community event you have been researching, in the recovery stage. Keep in mind the concepts and principles of the National Disaster Recovery Framework and Recovery Support Functions. Create your own video, brochure, etc., and post to this Discussion. This is a great opportunity to show your artistic side!
You will be graded based on the following:
Content (60%): Your knowledge and application of the National Disaster Recovery Framework, Recovery Support Functions, and agency roles and responsibilities in disaster recovery.
Communication (20%): How well your message is communicated to the community.
Peer Review (20%): How effectively and tactfully you communicate and respond to a peers PSA.
Note: This activity is not a required component of your final case study, but it would certainly be appropriate to include. Your Public Service Announcement is worth 10% of your final grade.
Submit your PSA in your discussion post.
