Assignment #4

Objective: Develop steps and procedures for athlete nutrition counseling

1) Create an athlete assessment form to gather information about athletes. This is a form you create used to assess all of the athletes with whom you work.
a. Determine which information is pertinent for making recommendations and for developing an individualized plan (age, gender, anthropometric, sport/ position, health history, dietary habits, body comp, goals, etc.).
b. What tools are you going to use to capture intake information (FFQ, 3-day diet record, 24-hr food recall, etc.)?
c. Include Stage of Change assessment (transtheoretical model).
i. Include 2-4 specific questions that allow you identify where your athletes are in the continuum of behavior change
ii. You can read about Stages of Change in the presentation on Athlete Counseling (Blackboard) or find information online.
d. Discuss how you would gather the information used in the assessment (form completed by athlete in advance, or completed by you in person or in advance, in person, phone, or electronic, etc).

2) Outline the steps for the initial consultation with your athlete in one to two pages.
a. What is the order of events/information gathering during the first nutrition session? (establishing rapport, taking anthro measurements, diet history, etc)
b. You can include components of your athlete assessment from above.
c. What if any information do you need prior to meeting with your athlete?
d. Determine how you will monitor and follow-up with your athlete.

3) Submit (Word, Excel, or PDF):
a. Athlete assessment tool (1 page)
b. Outline of athlete nutrition consultation and follow up plan (1-2 pages)

Chapter 4: Results

• results presented in sequence and relative to each research question
• only the results are presented without a rationale or discussion
• includes relevant tables and figures
• appropriate use of statistical or qualitative language to present data

Chapter 5: Discussion

• recommendations for future research are offered

This section of the assignment requires you to focus what might need to be changed or added:
Comment on any extensions, additions, omissions or substitutions you would make if you were
teaching this unit to the learner group you identified in Part 1, above.
Give reasons for your decisions.
Describe how you will assess student learning.
Describe how you will evaluate the success of the unit of work.
Identify any problems you anticipate in carrying out the unit of work and suggest how you would go
about overcoming these.
For added or substituted activities, list the resources you will need for these, and reference the
materials you have used or drawn on.

Treatment provision,

Patient diagnosis or difficult signs and symptoms and comorbidities,

Logistical or environmental factors which influenced treatment, transport and paramedic actions.

You are required to identify 1 article related to the international trade and wrote a summary of it(max: 300 words). The summary should make clear the link of the article to the international trade. The source of the article could be any major newspaper (such as the New York Times, Sydney Morning Herald,etc.)or a specialized newspaper or periodical such as the Financial Times or The Economist

include contents page, cover page. executive summary and sub headings.

form the assignment into more of a management report instead of an essay, look at international management issues for the board.

In this assignment mention the difference in treatment of diversity around the world ;include the opportunity to use the cultural profile tools to analyze/ explain this for example Hofstede, Lewis, Globe or CAGE to give evidence.

conclusions and recommendations should be explicit.

This assignment has 2 parts:
1- Sustainability management and GRI
2- Ethics

This Assignment weighted 75%.

Submission Instructions
The assignment should be organized using the following guidelines:

• The assignment report must use 12 point font size minimum and at least single line spacing with appropriate section headings.
• Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed appropriately at the end in a reference list. Harvard referencing style must be used.
• Marks will be lost for poor writing, inadequate structure, careless presentation, and if the report exceeds the word limit by more or less than 10% (word count includes executive summary and references).

\”Systematic review\”of a clinical intervention in treatment of childhood obesity.

This is the first part of my final dissertation, there are two templates that i will provide to complete the proposal and the plan.

Conduct a research project by critically examining and applying the principles and practice of Public Health; which may include a critical review of existing literature or existing data. You will present the project in a style and quality appropriate to a research report.

• Source and critically interpret different sources of information (literature, clinical data, interview/questionnaire responses, etc) that contribute to existing knowledge on the selected topic.

• Apply methods for analysing information and data appropriate to the hypotheses/questions, associated with the selected topic and the aim of the project.

• Discuss and/or challenge subject related theory, models and opinions.

• Present the findings of the project in a style and quality appropriate to a research report.

• Draw conclusions within the context of existing, published materials, including the wider implications of the project and identify possible avenues for future study.
