Post 1According to National and Colorado state laws, monitoring a company computer used by an employee is completely legal. In Colorado, employers are not required to notify employee’s that they are being monitored. (http://www.workplacefairness.org/social-network-computer-privacy-workplace)I would recommend using the ActivTrak software (http://www.activtrak.com/). ActivTrak is a free software that can be used by employers to monitor employee computer usage. It doesn’t only track that they are on the internet, but what websites are being access, what programs are being used, and for how long. It even takes screenshots of their usage that can be viewed later. Real time monitoring, usage reports, notifications, screenshots, and powerful website blockers, all completely free for the company to use.

Religions of Mesoamerica

Compare Eliade\’s model of the sacred and the profane to David Carrasco, Reade, and Gonzalez\’ view of Mesoamerican religion. Are the ideas similar? What are common misconceptions about Mesoamerican culture/religion? Can any preconceptions that existed during European contact be applied to Eliade\’s model? Are there any modern equivalents of contact period misconceptions of indigenous religion that continue today in the modern era?Textbook I am using is called Religions of Mesoamerica by David Carrasco. 2nd edition.

Religious and moral values providing cure for economic inequalities in the society.“

Persistent and recurring forms of intolerance such as border disputes and prejudice against other \’traditional minorities\’ have in recent years been compounded by increasingly negative attitudes toward members of other religions or races, discrimination and violence against immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees. In the years ahead, the challenge of integrating the oppressed into societies will become all the more complicated, as attitudes and legislation have hardened, xenophobic political and media discourse has become mainstream in many countries, and security concerns have often been invoked to justify discriminatory practices. We are only now beginning to come to grips with the impact of the global economic crisis on racism and intolerance. The most vulnerable groups are often minorities and newcomers, and these groups are often targeted by those seeking to peddle fear and locate scapegoats for current difficulties. In order to evoke consciousness on this issue, I would like to create article “Religious and moral values providing cure for economic inequalities in the society.“ I would like to include quotes from Quran (Islam) and Hadith, Bible (Christianity) and Torah ( Judaism). My goal is to evoke consciousness on this matter by using Religious perspectives. Please keep the article very objective. Christianity, Judaism and Islam should have the same weight in this article.
