Comparison of Windows Server 2008 and 2012

Outline Portion:You will need to submit a detailed outline reflecting your initial research. This should be in an outline format with clear but brief descriptions of what will be covered. This means that you will need to know what the differences are between the versions already in order to create the outline. Do not focus on what has not changed, but instead, put your focus on what has changed and the impact of those changes. This requires an understanding of the topics as much as possible. The idea is to communicate that you have done sufficient initial research to provide you with a solid understanding of the differences so that you can write the report. It should be detailed enough to convince someone that you are on the right track and that you have a clear idea of the report contents. For example, the outline should not say \”research differences between …\”—the research should already have been done so that you are outlining the comparison already and how you will cover it.Research Paper portion:The project report must be a Microsoft Word document that includes the following three sections.–It should have a section with the finalized outline–It should have a section that is the description of differences. In this section, you should describe five areas of your choosing (see list of examples below), as well as the impact that the changes have made. Use the proper APA format for citations. It needs to be four to five pages long, double spaced, one inch margins, using a 12-point font.It should include a summary section where you will reflect upon your professional opinion of the differences as well as any opinions and experiences you found in your research; for example, from other professionals’ reviews of the newer version.Possible topics for the paper:–Hyper-V–Active directory (including DS and RMS)–IPAM (IP address management)–ReFS (operating system)–SMB (server message block) 3.0 file storage–Network services (IIS) and support for cloud-based strategies and web applications–Dynamic access control

Course Project: Part 2This assignment will consist of creating an outline of the work base structure (WBS) that demonstrates the scope of your proposed project\’s implementation, as seen from the perspective of a nursing informaticist. As a nurse engaged in advanced practice, it is important for you to analyze how information flows within your organization in project management. This assignment will allow you to gain experience with assessing a flow of information. This week, you will create a mind map that illustrates the outline flow of project management for the evaluation and implementation plan for your proposed information system. The mind map must track the information system\’s evaluation, planning, and implementation to the point that it will \”go live.\” If any task is not on the WBS, then it will not be completed within the project, so scope creep and ultimately failure of the implementation is likely to occur.Using the systems development life cycle (SDLC), as defined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Test Content Outline, construct a WBS mind map outline that represents the scope of your implementation project for your chosen technology. Use the Level 2 categories on the WBS:Systems planningSystems analysisSystems design, development, and customizationSystem and functional testingSystem implementation, evaluation, maintenance, and supportYou need to include the mind map of WBS in your presentation of course project, which is due in Week 5.Select mind map software that you should be able to use to map out the process while adding in descriptors, which define your process from the point of entry to completion. You can use any of the following freeware mind mapping tools to create the mind map for your project:Bubbl.us (https://bubbl.us/)CmapTools (http://cmap.ihmc.us/)Edistorm (http://www.edistorm.com/)Edraw Mindmap (http://www.edrawsoft.com/free mind.php)Ekpenso (http://www.makeuseof.com/dir/ ekpenso-simple-mind-map-creato r/)Freeplane (http://freeplane.sourceforge. net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page)Mindomo (http://www.mindomo.com/)Mind42.com (http://mind42.com/)MindMeister.com (http://www.mindmeister.com/)Stixy (http://www.stixy.com/)Text 2 Mind Map (http://www.text2mindmap.com/)WiseMapping (http://www.wisemapping.com/)XMind (http://www.xmind.net/)Be sure to utilize YouTube instructional videos and tutorials on the web to assist you with the professional appearance and completion of your mind map. When your map is finalized, save it as an image so that it can be inserted into your Word document for submission.Constructed a WBS mind map outline that represents the scope of your implementation project for your proposed technology in Week 1, using the Level 2 categories on the WBS:Systems planningSystems analysisSystems design, development, and customizationSystem and functional testingSystem implementation, evaluation, maintenance, and support50Illustrated the outline flow of project management for the evaluation and implementation plan for your proposed information system.30Tracked the information system evaluation, planning, and implementation to the point of \”go live\” of the system.

Understanding the Value of Qualitative Research

Understanding the Value of Qualitative ResearchAn important part of both analyzing other’s research approaches and reflecting on your own includes understanding the positive and negative aspects of varied forms of social research and how they can influence a researcher’s stance and tone. While quantitative data can provide a general overview of the impacts of public policy and systems which manage society, qualitative data can provide specific and important information regarding the causes of this impact, such as the how, why, and who. Therefore, qualitative research can provide beneficial information to aid public policy in regards to social problems. This is especially important to know when public policy and systems create negative impacts, such as profiling, inequality, limited access, and social exclusion. It is also important to be able to recognize the stance or informed viewpoint of the researcher reporting on this information. One of the more immersive forms of social research methods available is one of the qualitative methods: ethnography. Ethnography allows a researcher to experience the impacts through living amongst the citizens who have to engage with public policy and its systems in their daily lives. The most intriguing aspects of this type of research is how the researcher maintains an ethical and neutral stance during and after the process of research and how the experience can impact their stance or underlying tone.In this assignment, you will present the benefits of ethnographical research in terms of informing public policy, as well as understanding the researcher’s role in performing and reporting on ethnographic research. You will do this through your own research of immersive ethnographical approaches (including the course text), and also through analyzing Dr. Alice Goffman’s work on inner city people of color in Philadelphia. You will be provided with reporting and reviews of her work to help fuel your own analysis of Dr. Goffman’s approach. This will help you become better at discerning what useful research is in order to appropriately inform decision-making in society. In your paper, you must address the following:Explain the researcher’s role in qualitative research. Discuss the unique issues that researchers should be concerned about in regards to their role in research, and explain how this is specifically a challenge in ethnographical research. Discuss specific actions researchers can take to ensure they retain their ethical and neutral stance in performing qualitative research and reporting their qualitative research results.Regarding Alice Goffman’s recent ethnographical work in inner-city Philadelphia, and based on what you know from the text and your own research on ethnographic immersion, determine whether or not Goffman maintained an ethical and neutral stance, and provide justification of the approach Goffman chose to take. Based on what you have been able to ascertain from Goffman’s work, discuss the information that was gained by performing a qualitative ethnography into the social problems of inner-city Philadelphia. Explain whether or not this could have been possible with a quantitative research study.Discuss what you have learned in regards to qualitative research and in particular ethnographic research in supporting decision making and the creation of public policy. The paper must be at least four pages in length (excluding title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Support your written work with examples from the recommended material(s), the text, and at least two scholarly articles sourced from the Ashford University Library. Cite your sources in-text and on the reference page

,Where i work cyberloafing is being use horribly used, people are always texting, shopping or mainly playing games on their phones or work computer. It is done so often; I wish I was the boss and could take care of the problem. there is always something to do if you have nothing to do, heck even picking up a broom once in a while wouldn\’t hurt. They could always ask someone if they need help on what they are working on, the company is losing a great deal of money paying them by the hour while they play on their phones. Unfortunately they are using their own phones, so there is no way to track what they are doing with them. But the office people were made to take their lunches outside the office and not at their desks and only allowed to get online to do their jobs. amazing enough, when you walk into the office there is no one on Facebook or shopping
