Project Overview:Each student is required to develop a research study which is based on the potential business planning for a new hospitality, tourism or leisure-oriented concept, or a diagnostic review for an existing organizational problem, the solution to which may be researched in both the fields of management research and corporate/organizational strategies.Learning Outcomes:1. Identify an industry-based issue or opportunity through research, investigation or critical observation and analysis, and develop an appropriate research study to a defined timescale.2. Propose and employ an appropriate research and reporting strategy in an accepted professional style, and identify and analyze factors relevant to the research, using formal research methods.3. Apply research skills to identify appropriate data from secondary sources, which through analysis will lead to the deductive conclusion of managerial strategies that may be employed to address the business problem identified.4. Select and employ appropriate tools and methods to evaluate research and research findings, based on a specific business and/or academic disciplinary area.5. Evaluate research report findings and make research-based managerial conclusions, implications and applications.Introduction to include an Executive Summary, Background and Research Approach 20%• Background and/or introduction, data collection approach and an Executive SummaryData Presentation, Data Analysis and Research Findings 60%• Data Presentation (30%)• Data analysis and Research findings (30%)Conclusions and Managerial Implications and Applications and possible recommendations. 10%• What are the conclusions that can be drawn from the data presented and how may it contribute to finding the solution to the business problem or opportunity?Synthesis and Referencing 10%• The completion of the research cycle• The cohesive structure and flow of the work• Meeting of the Glion Referencing requirementsTotal Contribution to course mark 100%Resources Available:The use of the databases available to all students will be the base of the majority of students’ studies and they will be dependent on the specifics of their individual study. Data will also be available from both journalistic and academic sources, however, students are reminded that this study is directed towards the management practices in the real business world and thus the sources of data should predominantly come from those business and corporate sources.Tasks & Weighting:Research report of 5000 words 100%

Environmental factors play a large part in how leaders\’ lead

All students will complete a research paper, a minimum of 7-10 pages in length (excluding the cover sheet and bibliography pages), which discusses the effects of culture on leadership. The paper should be written in APA format and have at least four sources, which should be sources not covered in the course (i.e., not the textbook). Wikipedia and web sites are not acceptable sources. The paper will be double-spaced, typed using Courier New font (12 point), with one-inch margins. The paper will contain a title page, an outline, and a bibliography.

Directions Answer all 10 questions. Be sure to define the terms and concepts you are using. Be as detailed as possible in your answer; as long as you are answering the question correctly, more length tends to indicate more effort and so tends to be rewarded. That being said, some of the questions below lend themselves to more detailed answers than others; be sure to be as detailed as you can, feel free be creative if necessary. In other words, show me that you are learning something and also putting in superlative effort. You can use class information when defining concepts; but all theories, examples, and applications that you utilize must NOT have been discussed in class; I want to see independent ability to apply the terms and concepts we are covering.

Choose a topic for a proposed social science research study and come up with a research question.
Come up with a midrange theory. Start with a 2 variable theory. State your theory as an if-then hypothesis.
Add a third variable to your theory.
Which variables are independent and dependent?
Create at least 3 scope conditions for your theory.
Using the ASU library database portal, find at least one peer-reviewed source that you could include in your literature review. Cite the source using Chicago Manual of Style or APA format.
How would you design a study that would either lend support or not to your hypothesis?
In your study, how would the variables be operationalized?
What do you hypothesize will be the relations and correlations between the variables in your study? How much variance in the dependent variable do you think will be explained by the independent variables?
Propose some spurious interactions that might occur among the variables in your hypothesis and other variables outside of your proposed hypothesis

Lab Report, Chemistry

discussion and conclusions, here are some questions you should answer as part of the discussion and conclusions section. These suggestions are in addition to the guidelines distributed at the first class session. Please remember that the discussion/conclusion portion of a lab report is meant to discuss the results determined in the experiment. Do not restate the procedure in detail. Instead, use this as an opportunity to address the following:

* Within the body of your discussion and conclusion instead of answering the post lab questions on pg 8, please answer the following questions:

* Definitions for major concepts: this includes more than Hess Law.

* Discuss the reason special instrumentation was relevant to the completion of this experiment as it pertains to the calculation of heat quantity.

* The theoretical values for Hformation of MgO is -601.8 kJ/mol, Determine your % error for this experiment.

* Compare the value for Hreaction for Reaction 3 that you obtained in this experiment, with the calculated value of Reaction 3 using Hess Law (from question 5). How do these values compare?

* What did we assume about heat lost and the calorimeter that allowed us to determine T?

* Using T value, what steps were taken to eventually solve for H of reaction (going through solving for q, NOT Calculations, but equations)? Explain how the equations were used in relation to Hess Law.

* Identify all equations and reactions that were necessary for you to eventually determine the enthalpy values as part of the purpose of the experiment ( for Parts 1 and 2)

identify 3 of its environmental issues and the various perspectives for each of them.

Select a region or country (NOT China, India or the US except for Native American lands or Puerto Rico) and identify 3 of its environmental issues and the various perspectives for each of them. Do not choose ‘Pollution’ or even ‘Water Pollution’ but instead focus on ‘Water Pollution caused by Agricultural Waste’ or ‘Water Pollution caused by ships and ballast dumping.” First provide a relevant and insightful demographic (including health if discussing water pollution for example), economic and political examination of the region in question. Then describe each of the 3 selected environmental problems, their origin and magnitude, and to a definite lesser extent what is being done about them. You need to also give an assessment of how you see the future of each issue in the short and long term. Please note that the solution may lie elsewhere than ‘there.’ (bibliography, images and map(s) are a must and in addition to the 8-10 pages)I NEED AN OUTLINE BY SEPT 6 PLEASE.
