Organization:
• First paragraph: briefly summarize the book’s subject. Identify the who, what, when, where of the book. At the end of this paragraph, identify in one clear sentence the author’s main argument. What is significant about this time period/person or group/piece of policy/historical event, and how does it change the way that we understand Latin American history?
• Second paragraph: briefly summarize the book’s chapter organization. Is it built around one historical event? Does it look at a span of decades or more? Does it focus on the experiences of an individual or group of people? How do the different chapters contribute to the development of the history/story?

Here, feel free to make references to other readings assigned in class (see Style section below for how to cite these references). Also, provide specific examples from the monograph to illustrate your analysis.
• Final paragraph: discuss the ways that this book challenged your understanding of modern Latin American history, or resonated with topics from this or other classes.

From the trial data provided in the paper, and using the Estimating Sample Size Work Sheet developed by Matt, you will be able to estimate the necessary minimum participant number that a future trial would have to have in order to demonstrate therapeutic efficacy.
