Identify a patient problem in your clinical area in which the patient assessment revealed abnormal data. Develop a holistic theory based nursing process care plan for the patient (form attached). Consider culture, teaching and learning concepts in the plan. An example of a Holistic theory based nursing process is located in the syllabus. Review the four major nursing theories in this program (Caring, Modeling and Role Modeling, Neuman’s Systems, Roy’s Adaptation Theory) and select the one which fits the patient situation you select from your practice.

Paper II—Augustine’s Confessions

As a reader of scripture, Augustine has a complex interpretive approach. On the one hand, he thinks that his scriptures recount true facts (e.g., the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus). On the other, he recongizes that where, for example, the Genesis creation story is at odds with the “scientific” neo-Platonic account of creation, that what must be sought is an exegesis of the scripture’s “spiritual” meaning. Indeed, Augustine maintains that individual readers are able to find valid spiritual meaning in the Biblical texts even if their human authors did not understand those meanings. So, again, if Moses thought the creation story literally true, and it is not, this does not preclude another reader from uncovering a latent, spirtual meaning in Genesis (as Augustine seeks to do in the last book of the Confessions).
Attending to how Augustine uses his personal experience as a kind of evidence, consider his use of scripture in the Confessions. Limiting yourself to the books we have read, explain how Augustine uses his life story as proof of the “truth” (as he would call it) of scripture. How does Augustine’s approach to the interpretation of scripture allow us to understand the autobiographical account of the Confessions as a kind of performative exegesis?

In framing your response, you will want to focus closely on one or a small number of instances. While you are free to consider any aspect of Augustine’s treatment of scripture, it is clear that his engagement with the epistles of Paul underlies the whole of the Confessions autobiography, and that Augustine clearly expects his readers to be
familiar with details of Paul’s life (e.g., as recounted by Paul himself in the Letter to the Galatians).

Introduction:

This project is intended to encourage you to apply the concepts presented in this class to some current management issues. Together with your teammates, you are to write a paper explaining and discussing the happenings outlined in the article indicated below. In addition, prepare an individual paper on the group dynamics and technology issues encountered during your work on the project.
The issues you are to write about were discussed in an article which ran in the Wall Street Journal in January of this year, entitled “On-Demand Workers: ‘We Are Not Robots’ …Is Technology Liberating or Squeezing the New Class of Freelance Labor?” Your group assignment is to prepare a brief (5-6 page) paper analyzing this article and arguing in support of your analysis. Describe the events and trends discussed in the article, and offer your ideas about the causes and effects of these events and trends.

Essay
Your essay will explain how well you think your school performed as an organisation. The question you will be answering your essay is:
Based on what you have learnt this semester about organisational performance, how well do you think your school performed?
You will need to think and plan out how you think your essay should be structured, and identify sources of information to help you in your task. This is a university level assignment and you need to think about and identify what your research on the performance of the school tells you about the value of the theories used to understand organisational performance.
In preparing your essay you should be referring to at least 5 other sources introduced in lectures, unit readings and your own research, as well as the Myschool site. A marking rubric for this assignment will be posted to Moodle showing that better assignments will include a range of references and draw on theories on how organisational performance can be measured and assessed.
As a minimum guide your essay should have an introduction, and then answer the question of how well you think your school performed, using the Harvard Author-date referencing system and provide a reference list of those sources actually cited in the text. In terms of presentation of the report the minimum font size should be 12, double spaced, on single sided pages, pages should be numbered and any diagrams, illustration or tables included should be suitably labelled and referenced. Your essay may include sub-headings. A list of references used and cited in your response is a requirement for each paper and Harvard-style author date referencing should be used.
